Michael Cox. He has his own custom builds and has done a lot for some Hoonigan builds. His background is offroad though and has a sweet bronco. Did a very nice clean job to fit 7 XL's (soon). Everything was TIG welded and made to line up with stock body. Very happy with the turnout of it!

You cut your bumper to fit that one? I have the limited and would have to cut. If so, how was that process? Does he sell these bumpers to anyone? And lastly how much for the gfc? Sorry for so many questions lol

Final look at it. Will get some better photos during goldenhour at some point. Very happy with the turn out. Gonna be getting a Switch-Pros RCR 12 soon to wire these guys up then finally do the lighting on the GFC

Your truck looks great! I love how that bumper came out, definitely one of the best I have ever seen for a 2nd gen!

Do you by chance have some photos of what the inside of the bumper looks before it was mounted to the vehicle? I have a SS built bumper that requires trimming the bumper skid and tubed skid supports, and the way your bumper skid ends on that cross member and flows into the RCI skid plate is pretty much exactly what I am wanting my bumper to look like as I also have a RCI engine skid and dont want to get rid of it.

If I cant get that to work, then I have to do more custom fab work and cut out that front cross member and weld in additional reinforcements for the frame, which I would prefer not to do.

    Thanks for the help!

Sorry man, I don’t. Michael buttoned everything up for me. One difference tho that he did do was keep the stock mounting points stock, and not cut them off. That way the bumper is removable if I were to remove it for any reason. It’s the little things that made this all worth it in the end.

No worries, thank you for the help!

I was just hoping to figure out my best course of action. My bumper looks very similar, even maintains stock mounting points.. only big difference I see is that the skid on mine extends much further down, which is starting to complicate installation.

what I can say is that the bottom of my skid plate actually connects with the top of the RCI skid plate. Making it “one continuous” plate. Makes it easier for install and disassembly

I saw that, it looks great and is exactly what I want to do. Just happens to be perfect timing as I haven’t seen anyone else with a similar set-up, you definitely did it right the first time!

Also curious, how do the proximity sensors work mounted up above on the valence? Looks like a great idea, definitely OEM feel, and is also something I am going to have to tackle

I haven’t been able to “really test it out” because one of the sensors plugs didn’t turn out right. Need to order another housing for the sensor cuz I broke it. I’m sure it’ll be fine just matters about drilling into the valence to fit it!

My finished product. Not quite as clean, as I have that small gap, but I am stoked on how it turned out. Thank you for the help!

Back to the RW wheels! Only reason why I went back is to have a lighter wheel/tire combo as well as the sizing and offset these wheels are able to provide. These Yoko’s are great so far and have WAY less tire noise than the Toyo’s. I just wish I would have powder coated them lowkey. Are they my favorite wheel out there? No. But the sizing/weight it offers is kinda unbeatable.
