think I can get away with no rubbing and just trimming And hammering that pinch weld plus a small 2” lift from my suspension ?

I don’t want to add a spacer / put extra stress on my lower axles.

My pinch weld is trimmed and bashed but barely hits. The biggest issue is rubbing the frame but backspacing on wheels can fix that.

I personally would stick with a 33 instead of dealing with 34’s rubbing.

This’d be great! If you give me a bit of notice, and depending on when you come through, we could maybe get a little run up Cleghorn, since that’s got something for trucks and drivers of all levels... and would give me even more incentive to drive north to meet you. LMK!

Done! I’ve got nothing but time currently so I’m sure we can make something happen! Once it gets closer, maybe we can throw up a trail ride thread for others to join in on the fun!

That’s a good idea... if you want 30 add’l trucks. :p If you don’t, we can be quieter. Let me know when it’s time, which you’d rather.

Hey Casper421, loving your build man, my vision is pretty similar to yours. And thank you for all the info on this thread! Was curious how you mounted the Squadrons to the bezels from carid? I'm thinking you probably ran a bolt through the back of the bezel?? I've tried finding the writeup you mentioned on tundrasolutions and was only able to find the guy referencing it but not the actual write up. Any info you can share is super appreciated!

Correct, two holes in the bezel. One for the wires and the other for the mounting screw. Here’s the write up:

I am looking at doing the same rack but without the tonneau brackets. Any particular reason you didn't move the rack back a bit from the cab? Is this the 58"? Also, how are those tonneau brackets working out and about how much weight do you have on them when your SO and you are in the tent? A bit concerned about those brackets. I am figuring on 160 for tent, 190 for me, 125 for my lady and another 65 for a dog. Just interested in what your experience has been. Thanks.

Thank you! I pieced it together off Amazon. I had to cut and grind down the circular mount so it would sit flush in the center console. I then used a piece of thin flat plate under the console to sandwich it in place. Doesn’t budge.

I pushed the rack as far forward as I could to still leave some room behind it for loading stuff in the bed. It is the 58” and the tent is directly over the rear axle. The brackets have held up very well over 2 years and 30k miles. There’s about 550lbs on the rack with the tent, awning, lights, 2 people and the pup. Ive put the brackets to the test both while driving and setup. They haven’t budged.

Do you have any info on the fog lights you mounted? I'm about to do the same thing and I found a thread listing the bezels and lights you purchased, but was looking for info on mounting and where you drilled holes in the bezels.

Great looking tundra! I'm wondering where you bought the tundra fog light adapter to work with the Baja Designssquadron lights? Was it custom made or does someone sell it online? your truck is super clean!! I had the Baja fogs on my old truck but BD doesn't have any kits for 1st gens on their site and haven't been able to find any company that sells the adapters to make it look super clean. Any information is appreciated thank you!
