New member. Been following here for a long time. Don’t know why it took me so long. Need some advice on how to clean the cloth seats. They seam to get easily stained. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome.

I've had good luck with a regular household carpet cleaner with a hand wand attachment. It sprays in hot/soapy water and vacuums it up. Because the hand wand is clear, you can see the dirt being picked up.

I suspect if you are seeing dirt quickly -- it's probably deep dirt coming back to the surface. The carpet cleaners can clean deep.

On warm days - the seats dry quickly.

I used the upholstery head from my household carpet cleaner too since previous owner was a smoker. The water it extracted was black. I've cleaned it two more times since then including carpets and headliner and smell is almost completely gone now.

If you know a detailer that has an "ozone" machine...maybe he'll let you borrow it...You let your truck running with the air/heat on inside and the ozonater will help kill most of the smell.

Be real careful with a ozone generator. It can be very bad for your health. I would run it for a bit then roll down all windows and park outside for awhile

Never heard of this stuff, will have to check it out. General APC works great for upholstery and headliners. I use 50:1 diluted.

I have this. It’s amazing and cleans super well. I usually do the whole truck in about a hour and let it air dry with windows down. Do you have to let it air dry otherwise you will get a wet smell inside the truck but you would be surprised how dark the water is after you clean your truck even if you think it’s not dirty. This thing is so easy to use we usually pop it out every six months or before and after a long road trip. Makes the interior look new

Had some nasty smudge marks in the headliner when Safelite replaced my windshield. Sprayed some on a MF cloth, dabbed the smudges, came right out.

Folex carpet cleaner and warm H20. Blend out to edges to eliminate water "ring". 34ford
