Installed gloss black wheel decals on the OEM wheels. I am happy with the results and so is my wallet. A40BE738-8672-485B-B2FC-262C2CA9DD16.jpg7AD627ED-6867-4AAA-850B-C4423B5BC4AE.jpg

I picked them up at ETSY. The quality is good. Installation is pretty straight forward. It’s much better to remove the wheel, clean thoroughly, and lay on a table or work bench. Get some “rapidtac” to spray on the wheel and the decal after cleaning with rubbing alcohol to remove residue. The rapid tac allows you to move it to adjust positioning for installation placement. Then a small fiber squeegee to hold and push the fluids out and wipe with clean microfiber cloth. Last step is to use a hair drier to get the last bit of residue.
There are YouTube vids on this. Adhesion is very good. You get an extra set for mess ups. I only had one decal stick fold and stick together on my second try.
I had a great Covid Period experience. I couldn’t get the rapid tac locally and called a sign decal business asking if they would sell me some. The shops said “sure, come by and bring a small bottle”. They just gave it to me! LOL I had brought a bottle of hand sanitizer to gift them. The change is quite dramatic and I like the OEM look and style.

I like that...is it one big piece or individual decals. Are they rigid or flimsy, and no problem with washing or pressure wash. Thank you

Also do they seem pretty durable? If I had these on and had to change tires would the piece that goes around the bead get messed up ?

They come in a set of 5 spoke decals and a sheet of small narrow 1/4 inch wide curved pieces for the spaces in between. Spikes go first one by one then the rim flange goes last and overlaps the spoke decal by 1/8 inch. The whole thing sticks together.

The vinyl wrap is thin and super sticky so you add the rapid tac as you peel it. So it doesn’t fold back and stick together.
You peel it using a piece of painters tape. Not your finger nail! It sticks and you peel and spray the tac on as you pull it off. Carefully lift and put down (I did it this way) the bottom right spoke corner and gradually align and set in place. Peel off the painters tape while the whole thing is wet. Make minor adjustments. Don’t press hard, while doing this, else it will stick. Then you start in the corner moving about to st it in place. Small bubbles will get pushed out.
It’s very thin and will stretch. It seems durable. I didn’t experience any tearing. The decal is a bit larger than the silver spike face and will wrap around onto the black painted surface. I use my finger And squeegee to press and smooth out bubbles.
I repeated the process exactly the same way each time to improve my technique. By the end it was pretty easy.

That could be an issue. The instructions suggest that they be installed leaving a small gap of silver around the edge of the rim for tire changes. I more or less did this. My tires are food for another couple of years at least so I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
I did wash the truck and have a pressure washer, but I took it easy on the first wash. Not sure, but so far so good.

I would add that my right front rim edge has some curb rash. The wrap molded perfectly over the rash and stuck well.
