I want to add another sub in the crew max. Same kind just wondering if the amplifier I have will power both. These are the subwoofer stats.

    • 4-ohm total impedance
    • power handling: 50-250 watts RMS
    • frequency response: 28-250 Hz
    the amplifier is picture below

Running 2 subs will either double the ohm load (wired in series), or divide ohm load in half, (wired in parallel). I think the most common way to do it would be dropping down to 2 ohms for 2 four ohm subs. One of your subs requires a minimum of 50 watts. That means 2 subs would need a minimum of 100 watts. Amp can provide 400 watts, so that could work. I wonder if the amp will let you run subs at 2 ohms, and speakers on the four other channels at 4 ohms, (because I m betting you have 4 ohm speakers). I have a Rockford Fosgate 5 ch amp that will let me combine ohm loads like that.
