I usually was getting 293 miles on a full tank of gas, but I Disconnected the battery due to doing some work on speakers, but once i reconnected the battery, I am now getting 395 miles on a full tank, and my MPG went down to 12mpg from 13mpg. What happened? What does everyone else get for their miles till empty? Thanks

Disconnecting the battery resets the computer, so your distance to empty inflates as a result. It will balance back out after a few tanks.

Mine goes up to 600 dte if I unhook the battery. I usually get around 11 mpg. It goes back down to 400 dte after a tank or 2.

My battery just died. I unhooked to charge it and when reconnected DTE was same as I left it, about 230 miles

That's pretty much it. Mine is ~300 just about every time. The most I've seen was 312, and it was due to constant highway driving

Depends on your tank size, and most of the trucks are more conservative. Guys will run until the computer says no more miles, and fill up to find they had several gallons left. Mine has the 38 gallon tank and I don't push the skinny pedal too hard most days.

26 gallons x 13 mpg is 338 miles. DTE on these tanks also don’t go to actual empty. I’ve never run it low, but it seems the 38 gallon tank has 5-7 gallons left when on E. 26 gallon tank might have 3-5 or so. So 293 calculated by the computer seems right.

26 has 6 gallons left at E. My DTE at fill up averages around 295. I'm averaging around 11 in town.
