Does Toyota make an OEM Bug Deflector for 3rd Gens?? I know companies like AVS and Weathertech make one, but they do not hug the body of the hood creating a large gap. I'd guess an OEM one would look better. I like how the hood deflectors stick up a bit enough so you'd see it looking from inside the cab; not looking for a low profile model.

Do you know of the part# or could attach a link? All I'm seeing on the Toyota Accessories page is one to fit a 2nd gen.

I have an avs that hugs the lines. You can have it free if you want it. I’ll take pics on Monday when I get to the office. You pay shipping though. Pm me if you want it.

Weathertech screws to corners and double sided tape for middle. The avs has 3 kinds, low, mid and high.

They do in Canada, at least it's stamped Toyota and was dealer installed.

We just removed ours after a year. Had I known what I know now about glue, adhesive, rust etc, we would have never put it on. It's not going back on.

It was held in place with 4-5 of these plastic clips that were 3m to the hood paint. Then a few more clips and a few bumpers.

    What a mess.

We installed quite a few of the Toyota deflectors. My personal opinion is that they are a waste of time. They only really protect a small portion of the hood.

Agree had mine for a year and took it off, scratched up paint from friction and to buff it out. I would have rather spent money on clear paint protection film.

    They are garbage.
My truck had one dealer installed and broke on our test drive. Brand new truck.
Damaged the clear hood wrap. Took delivery anyway and had to come back for repair a few weeks later.
I told them to just fix the hood and leave the stupid deflector off.

We got suckered into it at time of purchase for 1/2 price....oh well, lesson learned.

I prefer it without now that it's off and my wife was on board with the removal, so win win.
