    That is correct. I had the SCS Ray 10s with a plus 25 offset and Cooper AT3 XLT and sold those to a friend and went crazy and got gold Method 315s with a plus 18 offset and Toyo AT IIIs. Total Chaos UCAs and Bilstein 6112s on top setting.

    Did you heat the badge first? I've not done it, but the usual recommendation is to warm it up with a heat gun, or leave it in the sun.

    Im paranoid about taking a heat gun to anything near the paint. Im gonna try some fishing line this weekend but if that doesnt work, Ill get out the heat gun. I really want the SR5 badges off more than anything else.

    Fishing line won't work any better if you don't soften the adhesive. Those badges hold on for years through weather and washes. You'll have to warm it up a bit to soften it. If you don't you might pull hard enough on the adhesive to lift the paint under the badges, and that'll be way more of an issue.

    Try squirting 3m adhesive remover behind them so it soaks into the foam adhesive backing for a while. Then use the floss or fishing line. You shouldn't need heat if you do that.

    on edit: the 3M stuff is paint safe (I've been using it for 20 years). But watch the off brands. I used another brand on the wife's Jeep years back and it immediately started taking paint off.

    So i ended up spraying some WD-40 behind the SR5 badge and let it sit. I had run out of dental floss so I tried using some plumbers tape and it worked pretty good. I took a long piece and twisted it to give it some strength. It started out slow but then cut thru the adhesive like butter. The WD-40 allows me to pick the rest of the adhesive off with my fingernail. I then washed the area with a combo of Dawn and water and then hand buffed it with some Griots correcting cream. Looks pretty good. I only did the passenger side though lol. I’ll have to get to the driver side this weekend.

    I thought that dawn was a no no for cars because it breaks down the wax and protection?

    Hot day, blow drier on LOW from 12" away, plastic kitchen pot scraper to get corner up, keep working blow drier, slowly lift.

    No Dawn for me for the reason you posted or WD40. I rubbed excess tape off with thumb and blow drier heating, then Auto GooGone (GoofOff for you USA guys and gals), then Car Wash Soap and polish over the area

    @CaptainGrumpus

    The fishing line and dental floss never worked for me. I used a kitchen scraper, thin, pliable.

    I relocated my badges from the truck to the shed door. Started with 20 lb test, but quickly moved to 80. Alcohol, my thumb and light use of a paper towel took care of the residual.

    I used dawn and water clean the area before the griots and then some p&s beadmaker. It’s good enough for now. I’m gonna do a full detail before winter.
