I want to add a winch bumper before hunting season but don’t want one that sticks out like Leno’s chin.
I Love the looks of ADD Stealth fighter but the winch hidden so well you can’t even access the free spool knob.
I like the C4 Fabrication but I talked to them today and it’s 10 weeks out but they look good too.

‘Any other suggestions I may look into?

I sent DeMello an email tonight on wait times for a bumper. I am hoping they have increased production but not sure if anyone has ordered from them recently.

**** correction email from DeMello said 6 weeks ****

I think my pm was confusing. 9 months is what I waited due to me getting on super early before the design was finalized. If you end up ordering op you will not be disappointed, jason is a great guy and there products are top notch.

@state48overland is were I bought mine and I couldn’t have had a better experience

What great support from you guys and I ended up ordering the C4 because they said the mid height bar would work with cruise control and collision sensors.
Also there seems to be a little more metal on the corners. It was a tough decision but wanted strength and protection from deer collision without going full on Ranch Hand type bumper.
They are all awesome bumpers, all 3 manufacturers were great to communicate with the only bummer is C4 has the longest lead time at 10 weeks.

If anyone has a mid height tube C4 please post up because I haven’t seen one yet.

Also got the 30” cutout but couldn’t justify ~$800 for a light. So I am going to have 10 weeks to find a light and switch system.

Awesome! I am interested to see the mid height as well. There were not multiple options when I purchased mine.

I ordered their “SAE Steet Legal” wide cornering lights for the bumper in Amber.

I think I may change them to white, I just hope they are street legal because I want to tie them into factory driving lights plug in.

Hey @Elfine were the C4 small lights on your front bumper plug-n-play. I ordered the street legal lights and was curious to see if I was going to have to make a harness.

Here is a C4 bumper pic that Caleb sent me, this one has the low profile bull bar so not to interfere with regular grills with radar sensor in Toyota emblem. Obviously doesn’t have the 30” light bar cut out.

They come with the parts to make a harness. At least mine did. I believe the only truly plug and play are the ones in the tundra specific kit, but the mount for those is different I think.

So does that mean you could just plug the driving lights into factory fog light plugs?

No, I had to cut the factory plugs and use the supplied parts to make them work with the baja.

I have an Icon Stage 4, but I swapped the springs for Eibach 16" 700lbs springs. Still feels like the original icon setup did. I would think that you will either have to upgrade almost any springs, or spacer and lose some travel.

Just bear in mind that the mounting hardware in that kit is for a stock bumper. My C4 bumper takes the standard Baja Designs mounts.

Still, for anyone staying close to stock, I think the BD are the best option out there.

They are pricey but I went with them for the spot light location but couldn’t swallow paying $800 for a 30” light. I bought a cheap Amazon 20” for the front and two floods for the back on my Teryx 2 years ago and they are bright and still look and work like new.
That being said I am going with Cali Raised L.E.D. 30” light bar and trying to decide on winch.

Regarding springs mine are stock with a ReadyLift 3/2 setup right now. Bumper is 170# and 12k# winch with synthetic is 67# so that’s 237# minus factory bumper and parts say 75# so I would guess we are adding ~150# up front.

I am going to leave it as is for a few months. I have a trip to Texas in November so I will see what happens and how it drives for that.

As is I took it on the first road trip Labor Day weekend for a dove hunt ( 4hrs each way) and the truck seemed floaty so I want to correct that before I drive to Texas.

Caleb @C4 said they would invoice me for a plug n play adapter and I didn’t bother to ask how much it would be because I never thought it would be that much.
If it is $135 I am going to tell them forget it. I will be forced to splice into factory wiring.
