Fender flare question

    Forgive me if this is a stupid question but can fender flares such as these be removed? Or are all types of flares drilled into the frame?

    Bushwacker bolts to the bottom fender well and has rubber gaskets that rests on top of body fenders

    Mine are OEM but look just like these pistured above.
    OP, be aware even with the rubber gaskets, they will rub the paint and leave a permanent mark on the truck.
    I thought about taking mine off, but the mark left from the flares cannot just 'buffed out'.
    It is pretty deep in the paint.
    Not sure if the ones you have pictured will do the same..

    After reading about the rubbing from different posts causing paint indention and discoloration. I was planing in installing a tpu vinyl on the fender before the install. I did that on my tailgate and side bed rail ti protect it from the topper and dirty hands.

    There is a paint saver mod for flares on TT. Basically you just install clear 3m tape where the flare will sit.
