Found relay per the fuse box lid, it is correct. How do I unhook the horns?

There's 2 behind the grill in front of the radiator and 1 more separate for the panic alarm (going off 2018) can't remember the exact location, but I'll look it up when I get to the office this morning

Did you reverse the polarity on the jumper cables when you jump started the other car ?

I can't see any other jump-starting scenario that would cause an issue with the alarm.

I just had a very similar (random alarm) issue with my daughters car recently.
Turns out there is a hood sensor that was out of adjustment and any temperature change would flex the hood just enough for the sensor to trigger the alarm as if someone was opening the hood. It would trigger randomly at any time of day or night.
I checked it with a meter and determined it was a "normally open" switch... so I just unplugged it completely. The problem hasnt returned since.

Good information! Now that I think about it, it seems my problem went away when I installed my aftermarket hood ... I think

The hood switch is in the hood latch area.
Makes sense that it would be giving you trouble after having the hood open.
This is where I would look.

Some more info that might help:

From all the research I did on my '06 Limited's hood switch, it isn't used by the alarm system. It is solely used as a safety cut-off for the factory remote start. If someone was working under the hood, the remote start would be disabled.

I might be wrong, but I think the mechanism is different on 14+ where the grille doesn’t raise with the hood. I have wires going in to my passenger side support on my hood. I thought that was where the sensor was located.

I don’t know about the alarm, but my truck will beep and show the hood open on the display if I try to drive with it popped.

OP, does your truck show anything on the drivers display? Hood or door ajar?

Yeah i'm not sure either and just posted what I found in a quick search... but it's reasonable to assume there is a hood switch problem since the issue started after he had the hood open.

The pdf I attached is for 2007+

Here is where I was thinking the sensor is at and what my display shows when it thinks the hood is popped. I think it’s the green wire.

Did you use cables or a jump start pack?

That gizmo with the green wire looks like a horn/alarm/chime and appears to be grounded through the mounting bracket and is seperate from the regular horn.

The switch in question should be a simple in/out or on/off switch and it should be attached to or part of the hood latch assy.

$20 says this is OP's problem.

No image on display as if hood were open. Drove it to work today as I happened to be working where my dealer is but I couldn't leave before they closed. I left the truck unlocked with the fob inside so it wouldn't be going off where I was working. Since coming home it's gone off several times with no set interval. I just remote started it and will let it die after the 10 minutes, trying whatever I can think of here.

That sucks and I feel for you having issues with a new truck. When you can finally get it to the dealer, park it out front of the service area and let it keep going off until they fix it.

No sir. It sat basically all weekend with the battery uncooked. I drove it after work yesterday and same thing. Today I drove it to work and left the fob inside so it wouldn't lock now that I'm home she's yelling again.

I posted a picture of mine but the horn that's going off is one of the two behind the grill.

If you remote start it and the is a fault with the hood switch, the truck will shut off. You said you remote started it for the 10 minutes, did you happen to time it to see if it shut off before the 10 minutes? This confirm/eliminate the hood as the problem.
If that is not it, you probably cooked the brain on the jumpstart. If the alarm is going off when the truck is unlocked, it doesn't sound like a faulty sensor. I believe the remote start brain is in the upper passenger kick panel, some what along side the glove box. (On my 17' 100% sure that's where the remote start is) Might be worth a shot to unplug that bitch too!

Didn't time it but the remote start ran for what seemed to be 10 minutes before shutting off. After it shut off the alarm went off a couple minutes later.

Thats what I'm assuming but there are no other gremlins besides the alarm. This is the 4th vehicle I've had to jump with this truck.

I would have the dealer look at it. If they can’t re-create the problem while you are there, just leave it in their parking lot. I assume it will eventually go off for them. Maybe it would motivate them to handle it.

    Just a thought.

I'm going to do that but can't get there until Saturday if I can even go this weekend. I've been living with this since Friday evening. Having to unplug and replug the battery or leave the fob in the unlocked truck (which is push button start) is a pain.

Since I happen to be working in the town my dealer is located i drove the truck instead of company car and am taking off early to let them look at it. I'll report their findings.

Took 2 hours off work yesterday because I happened to be in my dealers city for work. Got there at 2:30 and told them the issue, too busy have to make an appointment. All I wanted was for them to witness the problem and at the most hook it up and see if any sensors show being failed totally didn't expect a fix just wanted it witnessed thinking they could identify the problem and come up with a solution and get parts in. So this coming Saturday I'll have to drive up about 2 hours for them to "look" at it. Another week of dealing with this and probably another week after they look at it because I can't take off work for this and I can't leave my truck unless they give a loaner.

Typically if they keep the truck you can request a loaner. Just make it known prior to your appointment that you are open to letting them keep the truck as long as they provide a loaner. Most dealerships are very accommodating on new cars

But if they find it was caused by something he did and it’s not covered under warranty, like shorted something out when jump starting the other vehicle, they will charge him for the rental. It’s only free for warranty work.
