    Hi there
My task is pretty simple: I need to unplug the central airbag sensor. I have never done this before and can't figure out where is it located. Watched few videos on YouTube for another models but didn't find the right one..

I plan to do some welding on Tundra and the repair manual says:
When using electric welding anywhere on the vehicle, disconnect the center airbag sensor connectors. These connectors contain shorting springs. This feature reduces the possibility of the airbag deploying due to currents entering the squib wiring.

Others will chime in but I'm thinking that you would be better off disconnecting the battery?

Agree, that is the necessary first thing to do.
I just wanted to make sure to follow the manual also, so I could disconnect both things - the battery and the central censor
