    Is it safe to assume that there is still nothing available that allows us to keep the BSM/RCTA sensors active? Seems ICI had one, but they gone.

    Other than spearheading your own R&D campaign, I know of nothing. Theoretically though, the fill plates between the upper and lower tubes of the westin bumper could be replaced with a plastic or fiberglass to allow the transducer to function. The fill plates can be easily removed with just a few bolts holding them in place.
    Might be a fun/ easy project, I have extra fill plates and all kinds of fiberglass.

    And, just so this doesn't sound like a total crack pot idea. I've don't this before on sailboats, moving the transducer inside the hull and "shooting" it through the fiberglass/epoxy for depth finders.

    Yeah Billy. I cut it all up and only used the upper tube and the step plate. It's now welded to the frame horns. Frame horns are basically extensions of the frame which is now boxed. It's about 3" shorter (closer to the cab) than originally. I also cut up the OEM hitch and it's double butted; passes through the boxing plate and welded to both the frame and the boxing plate.
    I've towed a trailer up through Oregon, did some off road with the trailer and come back, 0 issues.

    The hitch got moved farther up, maybe an inch higher than where Westin locates it. The decision to put it there was 'cause that's where it fit. LOL I did notice some bending of the Westin mounting brackets and their hitch was slightly bending the ends of the frame.
