Mag grey was actually my first choice too. Silver was my second choice and that's all they had so I took it. In most lighting, it actually looks like a light grey. I love the color now. I'm really glad I got it. And I only have to wash my truck like a few times a year which is pretty important for a lazy bastard like me. Whatever color you get, you're gonna love it.

Well guys just wanted to update this thread, I have found my Tundra! Out of town for a job found her in PA at greensburg toyota. Liked the dealer a lot, sales was great and they gave me a great deal on the tundra and my truck. Picking her up tomorrow morning and making the 400mile trek home, maybe I can get close to the 23.9mpg my chevy got on the way up. Hey its downhill now lol. It has the factory Bridgestone tires on it and I wanted the Michelin so they are swapping them over from a sr5 4.6l truck that was on the lot tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will be a great truck, almost backed out after reading about cam tower leaks but hopefully that's fixed for 2017.

Here's a picture of her when I left dealer tonight, tire swap first thing in thed morning.

Congrats bud. Looks sharp. Be sure to vary your speed on the freeway on that long drive.

Not sure, my phone died while at dealership so I had my aunt take the picture and send it to me. She has a Samsung Galaxy so it's not iPhone live.

I'm excited to drive it back, my first 100 miles back is up over the mtns so it's 45, 55, 35, 30mph as you go through various towns, then I-70 which is 55, rt-17 and rt 522 goes 35 45 and 55mpg in various places and stoplights in towns you pass through. So I think I should have a good variation, when I'm on 95 and 64 I'll just have to vary it as those ate 70mph for little under 200miles.

Well I got her home about an hour ago, averaged 17.2mpg on my trip home and 150 of that is through the Alleghany mtns with some pretty decent inclines. That v8!! Jeez I love it, pulls those mountains like nothing I have ever drive. It has such a great tone I found myself turning off the radio just to listen to it.

Post 95 you said something about a 4.6 truck. Re reading it you said you swapped wheeles from it so I see his confusion

Got ya, I could see that. Yeah this one had the bridgestones which I had on my 14' Silverado I traded and they weren't that great. Saw a silver sr5 there with Michelins and just had them swap tires, figured give these a try.

Hopefully you don’t mind me reviving this thread. Just bought a 2021 double cab SR5. Family is in residential construction, we beat up Fords and chevys over the years. How has your truck held up? Any good recommendations for aftermarket changes you made?
