I am about to order a shackle kit.

Attempted to dig around about this, found some info. Basically, I see some are not having the issue, and some are. Some are simply cutting the issue out. Does anyone make an end piece with a more appropriate bend to go around the issue created with a shackle lift?

    Thx

Went with Pro Form Fab +1.5 shackles. No issues at all. Love the outcome.

Just a question okay, please don't be offended. Why would you buy a TRD PRO, then remove the TRD PRO suspension components? You might as well have bought an SR5 or 1794, then added that big ole lift. No way in Hell I would have done that. Your truck looks cool, but it's like you Neutered your PRO.

I get it, to each his own. Just hated to see that TRD suspension taken off.

so when you lift a truck you remove the original suspension? Sorry dumb question but I’ve never lifted a truck and I’m interested. I wouldn’t want the SR5 because the PRO has other things like the interior and exhaust that I want. But by lifting the TRD PRO you’re eliminating the original suspension all together?

Don't be sorry for asking a question. Hope I can answer it properly. It all depends on the type of suspension upgrade (lift) that you use. You could go up 2-3 inches by using spacers with the front struts and AAL's or blocks for the rear. This would allow you to maintain the factory suspension components. However, if you go with 4-6 inches or more, you will be removing the factory suspension components (shocks/springs/struts) and replacing those with aftermarket lift parts. Most people that buy these TRD Pro's leave the factory suspension alone as you pay a premium for those components, plus they ride very good in all conditions. But if you want yours "LIFTED" those parts will usually have to go.

SWEET. This makes me feel a whole lot better about you removing the TRD suspension. At least you did it RIGHT. Great looking suspension setup. Hats off to you sir.

Well, you chose the right replacement components for sure. Looks very professional. Only thing I might have done different is have those front coils powder coated TRD Red. But yea, you did it right.

Seriously, that would look awesome under that black truck. Looks like you already have the Red TRD sway bar. It's a small touch that would make your suspension stand out even more. Love those UCA's, they look massive.
