I recently installed the DV8 bumper on my truck and I noticed some noises coming from the front when driving. I thought it was suspension at first with the added weight of the bumper and winch. Turns out the noise is coming from where the bumper mounts is rubbing against a part of the body work. See photo. When the body flexes the bumper rubs against that part. Any suggestions on a fix with out removing the whole bumper?

That looks like the lower tie bar on the radiator support. I would just take some channel locks and bend it back, won't effect anything. Also I would check the other side.

    Or shim the bumper forward?

Is the bumper adjustable? I just did an aftermarket bumper and the way the mount was designed, I could move it forward/back or up/down. Can you move it out any?
