    Here are the pics. The first one is one of the front guards. You can see where it has some pretty deep marks in it. Almost looks like the teeth marks of a saw, or marks from a really aggressive metal file. The second pic is one of the rear guards, and I put an arrow to the machining mark that I can catch my nail on. All of the guards have pretty visible machining marks, but this one is the only one that is really pronounced enough to easily catch and edge. The other marks are all much smoother.

    So, I got a text from Mark at Jomax Customs. He wanted to arrange a phone call after Oliver (@14burrito ) had shared the info from my previous post with him. I feel like a dick, as I wasn't trying to run down the product or anything and I am totally happy with them.:oops: Thanks Oliver. :p


    Anyway, I spoke with Mark and told him how I really was not concerned and just wanted to see if I was a lucky winner in this instance and that was why I had posted the pics. He was very friendly and was more than willing to send replacements for the two "damaged" pieces. Thing is, I have my rear ones installed and really didn't want to take them off the truck, but I got rained out of installing the front. I explained to him that I was completely satisfied with them and the issues were purely cosmetic. I'm not at all worried about cosmetic issues on a part that's going to be UNDER my truck. Told him I was more than happy to just install it and he could consider me a happy customer. Long story short, that's not good enough for him. He is shipping me a new one, and would have sent a rear one too, and I'm going to ship the one I have back to him. He wants to try and find out how and why mine were damaged, and he's already changed some inspection processes to prevent anyone else from getting guards that don't meet his standards of quality.

    Talk about going above and beyond on customer service. I was not an angry complaining customer, I was a happy customer, and he STILL wants to be sure that I have a top notch error free product. Absolutely stellar service, and I am going to have to keep an eye out for his upcoming products to see if I can make use of them. Quality products and quality service all in one place is such a rarity these days.:bowdown:

    Not bad at all for customer service, at least he did not tell you to never buy anything from his web site ever again. I can fully understand him from a manufacturing stand point wanted to see what the problem was with the parts and correct them a great DMAIC approach. Kudos to Jomax Customs!

    I was just sharing info. I hope that it's useful to others, and if anyone else has any issue they see this and realize they don't need to get hot tempered about it or anything. Mark has a desire to produce top notch products and he WANTS to fix it if there is anything wrong. I'll be closely watching for their future product releases at Jomax, and I won't hesitate to try any of their products. The old saying is "You only get to make a first impression once" and this was a hell of a first impression.

    my location of where I routed the breather hose. You can see the gas fill hose on the left which is where the instructions say to attach but I was able to get another foot and a half higher going to a metal flange higher and more towards the front of the vehicle.
