Sorry if this has been posted before - sure it has, however, a search didn't come up with anything relevant.

I am curious as to whether parts, specifically body parts from a DC will fit an AC. I need a new from bumper for my 2004 AC and I happen to find one that is also the same color, but from an 05 DC.

I know that the headlights, side markers, tail lights and box between the DC and AC are different and no interchangeable. I also understand that there are subtle differences in the interior between the two so not always possible for a direct swap. Also know the flares are different too, but can't seem to find out if the front bumpers are swappable. I think the hood and grill aren't swappable either.

    Thanks.

Bumper covers are different between AC & DC

One way to check is using your VIN and cross match the part number for your truck with the part number of the donor vehicle (year). If they match, then good to go.

You could plug in your VIN at an online Toyota Website or Parts Store. Enjoy.

Thanks for this note. Unfortunately no VIN from donar vehicle. However, I did figure out this AM the front bumper from a LTD DC will not fit a LTD AC as the flares are different.
