I have a new platinum and noticed that I can feel something bulging when I press down on the seats. When I looked underneath it’s a plastic round thing towards the back. It looks like it could be a sensor or something but there are 3 of them in a row and I can feel them when I’m driving. Is this normal. Seats are very comfortable except for that

If anyone has a platinum, can you push down towards the back of your drivers seat with your finger and feel a hard round thing right where you sit. I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be there or defective but I can constantly feel it when I’m driving. I can’t tell if it’s a sensor or heating element and it doesn’t feel right

I have no affiliation with 3rd gens, but is it a butt massager? Heating element? The cooling seat AC thingy you fancy folk have?

If you aren't sure what your truck came with you can plug your vin into Toyota owners .com. try a quick Google for it. You'll have to register an account I think?

I went to dealer and felt the seat of another platinum and it’s there too. Whatever it is, you feel it with your fingers and on long trips it feels like I’m sitting on a rock in that one spot. Pretty annoying....

My eyes, a toyota is a toyota.

I should have said "I have no knowledge of 3rd gens." My tired ass mistake. Lol
