Yeah its been good. I applied to two different railroads for a year, at least 45 different jobs that I applied for. Finally they sent me for a test to become a signalman. I passed it and got my first interview. I didnt get the job, but over the next month I got two more interviews. The last one just happened to be a welder position and they gave it to me. So basically I think I applied so much that the hiring department took notice and finally gave me a shot. So if you want to get on, apply to everything even if you arent sure you are qualified and when you get an interview, tell them you will go anywhere and that you may be the most safe worker in the world!

My wife and I are contract Cardiovascular Technologists.
You have a heart attack, we save your life. Your Cardiologist says you need a pacemaker. I'm the Cardiologist's right hand, when they implant it. You have a coronary or peripheral blockage, we open it up, with a balloon, stent or both.
Been in health care for 12 years. Now I just get to do it, traveling the globe, and make way more $$$ than I would back home in Florida.
I mean c'mon...parts aren't getting any cheaper. Not to mention, they keep coming out w/ cooler shit.

Yea, thank God we aren't residents, and our company pays our housing while we're here. I could/would never live here full time.

Thanks! I've always loved wood working and the Art of creating cool things for around the house. I want to take this time now to do some fun stuff, things I enjoy. Maybe even pursue some inventive ideas? :)

First you make your forms out of melamine
    a2d248c3eee0654e1a2467f0760d227f_0c38f9eb24ef4a80e85d058bfdeae046d616914f.jpg
The gfrc is only 3/4" thick so to get the 1 1/2 " look on the faces you see you make that part of the form 1 1/2" then when you pour it you just roll it up. Next after you mix up your mix you spray the first 1/8"
    488ee2ea5da13ad3eeda657f303d8370_72c8883f81292b753d62ac43c19efb991b31bff2.jpg
Then you brush it out to smooth it off the you hand pack you next thin layer then you put a layer of fiber. It's like wire but it's fiber.
    c48768c974fea861d3766dd7f61cb28c_e759f6dc52e3d2f73770988ba28e9670f85f4fe2.jpg
Then another thin layer then then let set till hard pop it out sand with 120 grit on a palm sander then seal.

OK not sure I completely understand the steps but I certainly want to try that one day. Question about the blue tub template you're using...where would I get something like that and are there more styles?

Great work! I love that natural, distressed look.
