Got some great feedback on mirror motors and sweaty AC ducts so now to the suspension. This is a 2002 Tundra I bought 5 weeks ago with only 70,000 miles. In amazing shape. I have a 2000 Avalon and know it inside out but still in the learning curve for the Tundra so thanks for the help. I look at the existing threads and could not an answer but I could easily have missed.

The tires are pretty new and wearing great and the truck runs down the road straight and perfect. No issues! I took a pic of the rear shocks and front struts. 3 questions come up:
    1. Do these look like originals? They sure look like it and reading some of the threads it seems right.
    2. If they are original would you replace at 70,000 but 18 years old? The ride is great, not rocking.
    3. What would you replace them with? I like the ride height and stock look so not interested in raising it or adjustables.

I appreciate your help as I learn my new addition.

Those are your run off the mill Bilsteins, tend to be better than factory standard shocks. There doesn't seem to be any leaks from the pictures but I'd be cautious saying they're in good shape without a real look. If you don't see a wet buildup of dirt around the shock body, then most likely they're fine.

If you want to replace them, because you don't know the age of the shocks then your best bet are the Bilstein 5100's, granted they are height adjustable (front), the price difference from those yellow ones isn't significant and you get the added bonus of adjustability... IF you ever feel like it.

Those shocks look like the originals. If you like the ride, then keep them in place.
