My 2018 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 does 0-60 in 6.5 seconds
( according to Go pro hero 7 Black)

anyone else stock crew max tundra with 4x4 do that ? I’m also about 500 ft above sea level.

Funny thing is I did this on a FULL TANK of gas 93 octane.

I didn’t realize till after the video was made.

I have a video as well if y'all don’t believe me
it’s a Stock tundra ONLY WITH TRD DUAL EXHAUST system.

I’ll be posting the link in about 5 mins

I wouldn't trust a video to decide how fast something is
My camaro ran an 11.3 at the quarter mile and when I counted etc, it was like 13

Plenty of magazine track tests put stock Crewmaxes at 6.7-6.8 but this is with stock wheels and tires. 6.5 or lower is closer to DC territory I think.

I am skeptical with larger than stock tires and nothing but exhaust.

I didn't think a DC cab do a 0-60 in less than 7 seconds lol
I know guys with superchargers are trying to push below 5?

I am curious as to what mine would be, i want to say last time I tried it was like 8.8 second using a gps app

    Cool!

My RCSB weighs about 900 pounds less than the truck C & D tested, so it should be even quicker.

shouldn't the rolling start be faster than the 0-60?

How do some if you not believe it ?? Down a steep hill really?

I guess you must not get anywhere near 6-7seconds ?

Here some tips to help you launch a Tundra.
    1. Turn traction off
    2.hold brakes
    3. Hold RPM around 1500
    4. Let go of brakes
    5. Put the pedal to the metal
    6. Repeat and practice for best times

    It’s not that hard lol

And you didn't even turn on tow haul mode for the extra pedal response?

Why don't you use an app that is built for this and report back.

That video is much to short to really get a good picture if it did. You also somewhat spun the tires which would limit your ability to get there. Counting is not an accurate way to do this.

I used “ 0-60 “ app yesterday and got 7.0001” but I spun too much tire.
I’ll get back to you all soon with another 0-60

I’ll show the road I’m on..

I’ll even have the app on as well.

Anyone ran times with SC and 35s?

Did my first two runs today @ 2894ft 0-60 (0-100kmh), tow off 7.8s and tow on 7.6s.

That's with a lot of added weight; full tank, canopy, bumpers, suspension, 35 Toyo M/T...20210521_083111.jpg

Almost every vehicle is slower on the rolling start . It takes time for the transmission to down shift and /or fuel mapping with the electronics .

    That's not quite right.
If you're doing a rolling you should be in the gear manually to get the best time which takes those variables out.

At first I didn't believe this thread. So I finally tried it using an app on my phone the other day.
78 degree morning 300ft about sea level with tow haul on.
I went 0-60 in 6.237 seconds. Works for me.

Edit: this is a completely stock double cab 2020 tundra with the 5.7.

True but they give you the rolling start figures to show what the vehicle is like in real world scenario .

I get similar numbers out of my stock 2018 crewmax 4x4. Also about 300 ft above sea level. My readings to my Alpine Halo9 head unit come directly from the OB2 port.
