New Husky rear liner... does this look right?

I ordered front and rear Husky X-act liners for my CM, fronts came in quick and fit great. The rear was backordered from Husky so I cancelled the order and found one on Amazon for the same price. It showed up today in a Husky box, and all seemed fine. When I pulled it out it was folded in half (to fit in the box) but the ends were kinda crumpled and looked almost worn in some spots. I just figured it was from riding in a box that way and needed time to flatten out.
I went to install it and got it sorta flat but it just doesn't fit with the same precision as the fronts.
The outer edges where its supposed to lay over the door sill just looks sloppy. I also noticed a pretty rough edge on the passenger side where it almost looks like it was trimmed with scissors or something. Plus it just seemed dirty. I remember my front liners came wrapped in plastic inside the box, this one wasn't.

Anyone else out there have this rear liner that can confirm this is what they look like when installed? Maybe I got a used/returned liner, or maybe it just doesn't fit all that well like fronts do? Hopefully the pics show what I'm talking about.

Looks like an Amazon fake to me. I’d send it back and reorder direct from Husky.

Here's how mine fit out of the box when new. Something looks odd with your fitment. Maybe it is a fake?

Probably a counterfeit. The chinese will steal and fake anything they can.

Whenever I need to be SURE I am getting genuine stuff, I try to go straight to the mfg/dealer if at all possible.

I would send that back and try again elsewhere.

That said... I HAVE gotten used/returned garbage from Amazon before... so that's also a possibility.

Looks like it's for a double cab not a crew max or like everyone said Chinese fake.

On the X-Act fit contour mats they have 2 options. One that does and one that does not go under the seat

Send that back and get the crewmax model that runs way up under the back seat. I love mine, that extra coverage is awesome and they fit perfect.

I dunno if I'd say that. I bought Weathertechs for my previous truck....and *their* fit/finish makes the OP's pics look fantastic. I mean, it was terrible.

Thanks for the pics of what they should look like. The ones I had are definitely not right and didn't fit like the ones in the pics. I was kinda wondering if they could be fakes but never thought something like a floor mat would be worth faking.
Either way, they are on their way back to Amazon and I'm on the hunt for a replacement. They are on backorder from Husky for a few more weeks, may just have to wait to be sure.

Is that rear mat Husky part # 53841? If so, two follow up questions:
    - why doesn’t it cover the side of the carpet under the seat
    - from what you can tell is the mat’l type, surface finish and thickness the same as the front mats (part # 53711)?

Yes, that is the part number.

I believe they don't cover the sides (under seat area) any more, that is my understanding. They do cover sides at feet level.

Material feels the same based on memory. I'll double check tomorrow when I get in the truck

They don't cover the sides like the weathertechs do. Yes they are the same material and finish as the fronts.

Wanna say that there are a few reviews on Amazon talking about how the rear mat material and fitment is poor compared to the front. That’s one of the reasons I haven’t purchased Husky. I’m not sure if that’s because Amazon is selling fakes or what.

If someone can tell me that the rear mats are identical in quality, material and fitment compared to the front mat, and exactly where they purchased those mats, I would probably buy a set.

I just had to pull my rear and reinstall last night to clean off the mess the kids made. I’ll need to go back and double check, I don’t think mine run as far back under the seat as those pictured above, but I’ve been happy with them.

OP - I remember unboxing mine. I had some of the dimpled corners, etc. a few days in the TX heat and everything conformed to the floor and I haven’t had issues since (~2 years now).

If you order from Amazon and aren't happy with fit or finish, send them back completely free shipping.

Variations will happen based on Mfg date as they seem to have changed styles over the years.

My Amazon.ca matts are NOT fake. If anyone has doubts, order direct from HUSKY.

There are 2 different ones for the rear. one that covers under the seat, and one that does not. I bought mine from AutoAnything.

I think the debate or issue some have now is, some of the full rear matts, don't cover the sides or are different material than the fronts. My full coverage rears don't cover sides under the seat, but I knew that going in.

I have no issues how they are made, the fit, quality or coverage
