I was installing my speedometer calibration I received from Rough Country, and scratched the steering column cover. Well my anal, ocd, perfectionist, has seriously kicked in and this was bugging the living crap out of me. My truck is brand new and only has 800 miles on it. SO......I watched a couple videos on you tube and saw people using a heat gun on scratched plastic. With nothing to loose but having to replace the cover, I tried the heat gun............and it works. Applied heat to the area, moving the heat gun over the scratch and not holding it in one spot. The scratch disappeared and you can't even tell it was scratched.

I know :worthless:, but I forgot to take pictures of the scratch before I used the heat gun.
