Looks great! Where did you get the wrap for the console? I can't believe no one makes a replacement part for that. You can black out everything but I still can't find a replacement to get rid of the silver console!

 

Thanks.. I got the material from Amazon 3M ... well as far as the radio bezel being darker grey it does match the trim anyways.. i will be wrapping my steering wheel silver pieces today ... wish me luck.

I just ordered my AJT kit this morning and having my head unit replaced today. I'm interested to see everything put together

 

Just a little emblem update. Still need to delete the rest of the chrome. Making progress.

 

It just needed a little dirt!

 

Will do ... i love my AJT’s ... i ordered everything they have for my truck ... post the head unit ... want to check that out .

 

I like it. I am one of the few that added chrome caps/handles to my truck. Years down the road the color match paint items will have chips, especially on the front end, but that chrome will still be looking great.

 

True that that’s what my uncle said his buddy had a Chevy with color matched everything and he said everything on front end is all chipped up.

Good points. So when I do my color matching I'll just store my chrome pieces away for the future.

 

Hey it only takes time and money and I hope I’m not speaking for only myself but I’m a little short on both now lol.

 

It could be chipping on his buddies truck also because it is a Chevy lol.

 

I can see that with the bumpers being steel but my 2016 sr5 grille and hood bulge (completely chrome) had multiple rock chips and one spot that was bubbling up so that was a factor for me to colormatch

 

Picked up a 2020 sport. Just added 285/75 Toyo RT’s and SCS Ray 10’s in gunmetal. 6112 Bilstein’s up front at 1.9.
Stock rear suspension.

The guys at the truck shop in San Diego did a great job. Some trimming and CMC to get it all to fit without rubbing.

Got an A.R.E. CX going on next week.

Anyone have any recommendations for steps? Was looking at the AMP power step but not sure if sliders would be a better call.

Gotta debadge this thing too.

Decided to postpone the head installation untilmthe AJT kit comes in. No point in ripping off the dash twice. I'll.post pics when complete!

 

Replaced stock TRD shift knob with aftermarket cnc billet style.
