Tire and lift size

Discussion in '1st Gen Tundras (2000-2006)' started by Natesbe, Aug 25, 2020.

?

Thinking of running a stock 18 on a 33x12.5 on leveled truck, will it rub ? Do I need spacers?

Rancho quicklift upfront and 9000 in rear on 275/70/18
New on here, have a 2011 sr5 with rancho quicklift on front end and 9000 on rear on a 275/70/18 toyo all terrains on stock 18s. Looking to get new 33x12.5x18 crosswind mud terrain/ all terrains, on the description of tire it says it's a 33x13.00 but call it a 12.50. Will I need spacers or is this to mich for a stock 18? Any info would be appreciated

Also looking for new rotors and brakes any info on those as well20200823_152825.jpg

1st Gen Tundra the way to go! I am planning on putting a 265 70R 17 on my 2006 Toyota Tundra. It has a 265 65R 17 right now (stock). My questions are as follows:
    1. What will be the effect on the odometer reading? Will it alter the computer reading as far as the speed etc?
    2. What will be the effect on the gas mileage? Increase or decrease.
I like this size (265 65R 17) because based on my research it is the size that you can fit in to the truck without doing any lift. I want to keep the truck as stock as possible. Please advice. Thank you.

Dang, exactly what I was thinking. "Damn, that thing looks like a whale! Looks it got stung by a swarm of hornets!"

I'll never understand why folks like the newer truck body styles, across all the manufacturers. They all look like they failed short-bus school, not quite big enough to bus around the kids, but not quite small enough you could actually drive it without a commercial license.
