Another 10" BAMuffler, from Keith @ DirtyDeed, satisfied customer here. I have not yet installed the Helmholtz resonator. The day after i installed the exhaust we took at camping trip 250 miles away. Exhaust is wife, kid, and dog approved. I love it. Its what i was looking for exactly. Sounds better, but not noticeably louder than stock at idle or at easy cruising / light throttle. Stomp on it and its an entirely different animal, yet not obnoxious at all. My wife and son were at a park with our dog the night i installed it and i got HEAVY on the throttle taking off next to the park (about 200 ft from them) and i saw my wife's arm up in the air as i drove away. I confirmed later it was a thumbs up and not the bird. I wasn't sure at the time :)

0 regrets. Sounds great. I have the resonator and if we ever get a camper or trailer i'll consider installing it. As it is now i have no noticeable drone, though the real test will be i70 traffic up to the mountains this winter.

I’ve had the BAMuffler 10in for a few months now and it’s perfect! Very well built, No resonator. Throaty and just a hint of raspiness when you want it!

The dd exhaust is significantly louder than the trd system. Not even close, and im comparing the 10 inch

I've had the BAMuffler 8" for a month or so now and I recommend it also, it sounds mean as hell to me. I installed the resonator and I think it's worth that little extra effort.

Here's a clip of the black widow race venom 250, 2.5" dual in, 3" single out. Quick start up and rev and the second video gives you an idea of the cabin noise.

The cabin noise is minimal, you can hear the tires more than anything else, despite what the camera picks up. I've had this over a month now and I'm still impressed with it.

Would have been great if he did alot less talking and a little more exhaust audio.

This rules out the DD exhaust for me... but honestly I could weld up the same thing in my shop by myself. I'm not impressed with the cobbled-together appearance of the DD system. No offense to DD or the buyers of the system... but it's just not for me.

The TRD system sofar looks and sounds like what I'm after.

It would be nice if he talked less, but if you can tune him out and focus on the exhaust sound during the different driving situations, it’s pretty accurate for an internet video. Around 3:30 to 3:55 into the video when he’s sitting around 55 mph - even comments about a rumbling - that’s the chopper sound. If that doesn’t bother you than I think you’ll like the exhaust.

Yeah that is a much better listening perspective. I think the TRD exhaust sounds great.

Where are you guys finding the best pricing on this system ?

I think $1000 to $1100 is about the norm.

Believe it or not, normal driving isn't that loud. If you don't get on the throttle hard, it stays nice and mellow, hardly know its there. A warm start isn't much louder than stock.
