Any recommendations on how to clean stains on the seats and some seat covers. 250 is what I'm looking to spend on the covers.20200808_083651.jpg

I’m interested in this as well. I have a ‘20 and am finding if any water gets on my seats it leaves a water ring. My seats already look terrible. So if you get a stain and try to remove it with water or a cleaner your left with a water stain.

A damn microfiber cloth, blot the stain then use a dry microfiber cloth.. stain gone.

My seats looked horrible after getting in after a bad rain storm. All marks are gone.

Stains that 'return' are usually the result of something that got into the padding and now wicks back up after you get rid of the superficial stain. Biebs96 said the secret word.....blot. Use as little water as possible to lift the stain from the material without reactivating a stain that might be hiding underneath.

Your other option, which is more time consuming, is attacking the stain with cleaning solution, a drill brush, and then an extractor. Dozens of YouTube detailers are using this method with success. I used it on my daughters Hyundai and it does work very well.

As far as seat covers go, I've not been able to justify pulling the trigger on good ones that are actually custom fit to the truck. The seats in my 2013 do not seem all that susceptible to staining, and I only have one 'universal fit' cover on the drivers seat...there's a small tear on the bolster nearest the door that I did not want to get any worse.

I sprayed my seats this spring with 3M scotch guard after I cleaned my seats. Water beads right off. Will probably do it again this fall. Sick of water staining my seats.

Had similar stain last year - took mine to my local detail shop.

He told me you have to clean the whole seat, not just one spot.
Charged me a hundo to do the whole inside. Front and back, floors and all trim.

    No more stains.

For any stains I use Folex.
