    Hi all,

I have a 2020 TRD off road, and I noticed recently that my drivers side window squeals pretty loud when I put it down, and it does not do it when going up. I do not recall anything falling down there, and I don't have any kids that would have put anything down there that didn't belong, so that isn't a risk either.

Any ideas on what the problem could be? Foreign object maybe??

Mine does that too when the seal gets dirty. I roll the window down, spray some 303 on a rag, and run it between the two seals.

303??? Is that something I can get in Walmart?

    Thanks for the input!

303 aerospace protectant. It's kind of like armor all but better. I usually order it but walmart might have it.

I havent seen it at Walmart (you can order if from their site) that I recall but most marine stores have it. I use it on my dash, interior door panels, and interior plastics. Don't use it on the exterior trim though. It will get water streaks and turn a faded gray color.

Is this good to put on headlights to protect it from fading?

I've never tried it on headlights but the way it doesn't perform well on exterior trim, you would be better off getting XPel or Lamin-X film for your headlights.

Any silicone spray can be used in the channel where the glass slides. That will stop the squealing.

Mine does that too. I sprayed some of this on both sides of the windows and it stops it from squeaking.

The odd part is my truck was sitting for 24 hours and the squeal is now totally gone, no intervention! WEIRD!

Thanks for the good tips. My drivers side window always sqeeks the last 1" as I roll it up. As it's started to get colder in the mornings, I've also noticed the window squeeking between the glass and the window rubber trim as I drive to work. I actually came to the site this morning looking for a solution - found what I was looking for.
