What was involved to install the 3rd Gen front bumper?
    Were any modifications required?

Hi. Can I Purchase one of your bumpers? Can you advise on the shipping cost to Nor California? Thanks
I've a 2012 Tundra grade 4x4 with a horrible crazy Texas bumper on it. YIKES!

There were a few hiccups... Its been years since I did this. I bought the bumper used, so it was complete, which made it way easier to install. Mostly, trimming for clearance, but no major modifications at all. Oh, and the 1/2 spacer mod is necessary to get it out to where it looks right.

Sorry man, Cali is a long way out from PA. I'd sell the RC bumper I have on now if I could.

That's exactly what I want to do. Did you use 1/2" bumper spacers to get the 3rd gen bumper to align better with the 2nd gen plastic part above it?

What's up!!!! How much of a gap do you have between the top of the bumper and the cover? I'm wondering if I need to use a block of wood and a jack to push it up a little. I'm not too worried about getting it perfect since it will be Line-X'ed soon.

I probably have about 1/2" gap in the center, but it tapers out as it works out to the ends.

Ok so it sounds like once I have it Line-X'ed, adjust it just on the ends to get it as close as I can?

Made some adjustments today. It will be fine for now until it cools off outside. The angle of the passenger side (1st pic) drives me nuts...damn ocd lol.

Gap closed up nicely. That passenger side would drive me nuts too but its one of those things, you did it so you likely will be the only one to notice it. Nice job

I have more gap in the front center, but that's the rice for having the sides lined up straight... There's no in between.

I hear ya there. I'm going to look at my neighbors 2014. Glancing at it, it looks like the sides of the 14 has a slight angle compared to our 2nd gens.

@1BadTundra, how did you make the cut across the 2nd gen bumper to keep the upper trim piece?
