What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Installed my Coachbuilder +3's today. Got 2" lift that I'm sure will settle out a little lower. Really happy the ass isn't sagging any more

Just a heads up, @Coupe is the man! He is extremely easy to work with, his work is flawless, and he gets it to you in no time. I couldn't recommend him or his product more!

 

Changed my oil for the first time as my free ones are done with... these few items made it super easy, also replaced the drain plug.

 

Finished up the install on the transmission cooler kit.

Use small zip ties to attach to grill, wired into battery buss bar I added.

 

I had it installed, I believe they tucked it behind the head unit. Maestro is just one of many wiring harnesses out there, others can be used as well. FLAC is supported on the Kenwood on whatever USB is used. The Maestro also connects into the OBD2 port, which provides gauges, tire pressure, and other truck related info on the Kenwood.

 

I lost my keys for my Undercover swing case I bought a few years ago.
Undercover wanted like $4 a key with $8 shipping.
Obviously I don't like keeping up with keys, I could have sworn they were in the console..

An observation I was able to turn the locked Undercover keyed lock, by hand, and turn it to open the lid.
Not good...

I thought I'd try a Combi-Cam lock.
I had one of the these on my Lock'er Down vault when I bought it.
I upgraded that to an electronic keypad and love it.

Being I didn't what an electronic keypad in 110 degree summer heat in the truck bed, I bought these 2 items on Amazon:

The hole in the swing case cover was a little bigger than the cam in the lock I bought.
I fabricated a 2 pieces (top and bottom) of plastic sheeting to install above and below the lock in the lid to prevent the lock from turning.
You can see it in the pics.
I used a Dremel to make the holes perfectly to the rounds and flats of the lock cam so that it would not turn when mounted.
I put 3M molding tape on the sheeting pieces to hold them in place.
Also the new lock has a pronged washer, that went into my sheeting, that holds the lock securely.
The lock will not rotate locked by hand like the OEM keyed lock did.

Would it turn with vise grips?
Probably, but 99% of the time I have my Undercover Flex cover closed.
I needed a lock for the 1% I had it open or removed.


It worked out great.
No more keys to keep up with.

Put the tow/haul to good use. It amazes me how quick you can get the mpg's to drop.

 

1aauto one. If u can afford more, I would recommend the ones from boost auto. They make all harness after your order. 1a I had to change couple wires and hook up my own.
