For those of you that have purchased the Firestone airbags i have a question for the lift trucks. I was wondering if there are a direct fit our is a spacer needed to install the correctly? Going to be making a purchase on them just want to get everything su once for the install. BTW i have the bullet proof 12" kit on my truck.

With a 12" lift you'll need lift spacers for your airbags.

Thats what i figured just was not sure. I seen they sell spacers for them but wasn't sure the size needed. Was hoping someone that has bulletproof kit would be able to help out with the size of spacer needed. Didn't want to make an order for the air bags then another order for the spacer after measuring for the spacer but I guess that may be the best way.

Yeah. I guess it depends on the lift and how far away your springs end up being from the frame. Twer it me, I'd get someone to measure from the top of the leafs to the nearest point on the frame, with a stock tundra. Then do the same on your lifted, and deduct the difference. That would tell you the size of the spacer needed.

I would call Firestone direct and look at using a larger bag. They are easy people to deal with. Just ask for Tech support. 800-888-0650
