About black trim pieces

Has anyone tried these on their trucks before ?

 

Also the black door handle trim covers.

I kind of like this idea. I have the unpainted black handles, but they fade in the sun and I have to keep treating them with Aero 303 or similar products. This will at least protect them from the sun even if it only lasts a few years. I will keep an eye out for more reviews.

 

I bought something similar for my wife's honda pilot. Should be here soon. I'll post up pictures once I receive them.

She ended up liking all my truck blacked out so we are doing the same with her pilot. Getting all the chrome vinyl wrapped black and powder coating her wheels.

 

You could do the midnight black handles and mirror caps from Sparks instead of the flat black ones.

I appreciate it but price is a big difference I’m willing to pay 70 or so bucks on covers but idk if I can spend 230ish on 4 door handles.

 

No worries. Just depends if you want factory correct or not. Just a suggestion.

 

I really appreciate it I understand I might it definitely is a option because if ordered 2 covers 1 for the handles and 1 for the mirror caps it would kill me inside if they weren’t the same black.

 

Installed these today. No clue how they'll hold up but we'll have snow in a few months, should be a good test.

Vinyl wrapped all the chrome earlier this week. Wheels will be powder coated in a few weeks.

Hopefully they hold up but for $30 bucks if was worth a shot. If not I'll order black OEM ones.
