I’ve got a Scorpion evo 3 that I turned into a SBR and I have a tri lug adapter for the omega can it works extremely well. But if you are worried about size and or weight they make an omega 45k that’s shorter. Even if you don’t plan on getting and 45 host soon, I would recommend getting it in 45 anyway you never know what laws might get passed and you may find a deal in a 45 somewhere. I was planning on a 9mm can first but the dealer talked me into a 45 and sure enough a couple days later I found a great deal on a 1911 I’ve been wanting so it worked out. Just my .02. Either way you’ll be happy you went suppressed

Got my slide back today. Had it milled for RMR install, suppressor sights installed + black nitride finish. Also got my HK threaded barrel/thread protector in last week. Time to get the RMR sighted in next weekend. I’ve pretty much decided on the CGS Mod 9 for a suppressor, just waiting on them to fill the back order so my local store can order one for me and begin the process (he says they are around 6 months right now).

Is it 6 months till the gun shop can get the suppressor? Or is that what they told you how long the Form4 takes to transfer it to you or your trust? My dad ordered a can back in January from silencer shop, hoping the stamp is issued before January 2021. All of my stamps have taken 10-12 months.

He said 6 months for the tax stamp process. First time I went in a few months ago he told me 9 though so not sure if someone just got lucky with the 6 or what.

The Scorpion EVO is very fun to shoot. Sig makes a great PCC, the MPX, also very fun to shoot. I have the Kel Tec Sub2000, with the right mods that thing is a great time at the range.

I’m at 5 months for my SilencerCo Hybrid. Really hoping to get it around 6 months, but can totally see waiting until year end. Also have a Omega 36M at the 2 month mark that I pray will get stamp before year end too!

Edit: I did mine going through a trust. So the dates for trusts are longer than individuals.

Found a local gun shop with a silencer shop kiosk in it today. It was too easy to pass up. They have the CGS Mod 9 on backorder but I went ahead and paid to reserve one and went through the finger print / picture process along with a few other steps. The kiosk and app made it super easy. In and out in 25 mins.

Not sure what state you are in but check out Silencer Central formerly Dakota Silencer. They have a trust system in place which is very easy and convenient or purchase direct. Once approved you can pick up or they mail directly to you. They are in 42 states now and know their stuff!

Bumping this thread to ask if anyone here has any comments/first hand experience with Dead Air cans. I ordered a Wolfman this weekend and just got the paperwork done with my LGS who has a SilencerShop kiosk. First time using SilencerShop also, so I'm interested to see how this process will go, especially with eforms going live recently.

This will mainly be going on my Sub2k and I think I've watched every YouTube video on these cans and they seem to get good reviews.

Got the Mod 9 a few months ago. Love this thing. Perfectly balanced for a handgun. Works great on the MPX too but think I’ll get a wolfman as a dedicated can for it and this will live on my VP9

Not my picture but I have all 3 of these Sandmans with thousands of rounds through them. Not a single issue.
