I'll be ordering the Westcott Designs Pro kit soon, and want to also put some CB shackles on, but undecided on a +1 or +2. I don't tow anything (YET), but do have the Rigd Supply Mega fit tire swing waiting in my garage that will have a 35 on it.

    Suggestions????

I would do a +3 or you’re gonna be nose high

Are you going to do the shackle in addition to the block included in the kit? I would say ditch the block and do a +3 like @Hbjeff said.

Good catch. I forgot about the block! Avoiding the block is a great idea anyways

I didn't even think about just doing the Westcott front and a rear shackle.
    Good call guys.
    Thats what I'll do....gracias

Emailed Jeff Westcott and told me I would be better off doing his front kit and an Icon 1.5 AAL for the rear. He said a shackle will give a little height, but will still sag under load.

ive considered this as well but some guys on here have said the icon AAL doesn’t hold up to weight. Call icon and ask directly. Maybe a standard add a leaf is better for you for increased weight. Perhaps with a shackle. My truck was dead level, then i added a +1 shackle, the truck drives so much better

Yeah, I was reading that as well. I think I will get the Westcott front kit with a CB +3 shackle.

I’m thinking the same!!!does the Westcott front lift actually raise it 1 1/2 inch’s?

I think it may. It also looks like a better front lift for Pro's over the CB shim.

I'm debating between Toyo MTs or Duratracs in 285/75/18.

How did the 285/75/18s fit? I also prefer a slightly taller and thinner tire compared to 295/70/18. I will probably do CB 1 inch shims and +2 shackle. Nice truck BTW!

They fit great. I like them much better than th 295s. They're also like 10 lbs lighter per tire.
Thanks, truck is slowly getting there. Lots more to do.

Did you get an alignment done after the lift? If so, how is it? Are you in stock UCA?

Do you have a side profile shot? Was leaning towards the CB +2 shackles but sounds like +3 might be better. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks. Luckily it was just me in the truck. Just sucked since the truck only had 1724 miles on it. In a way, I'm glad the insurance totaled it because it never would have been "fixed".

First off, CorsoTundra, major bummer about the truck but glad no one was hurt. Second, we rescued a Corso years ago. Loved that dog. And lastly, the Westcott site is a bit confusing. Is the front lift only shocks? And the full kit shocks and blocks?

Yeah, totalled truck sucks, but can rebuild a new one. I love my Corsos. They're awesome and such personality.
The Westcott front kit is a bigger lower front shock coil collar and an upper shim.
The full kit includes the rear block.

Ahh got it. Thanks. I am trying to decide between this and the CB set up. Ultimately want to run 34's or 35's on my '15 and really don't want to do a CMC.

We rescued Belle off the streets of Philly 15 years ago. She was a whopping 60 lbs and had been used as a breeder dog and then tossed to the curb. She was in a kill shelter outside of Philly and they had her labeled as a Pittie because they didn't know any better. Back then that was a death sentence. Friend of a friend worked in the shelter and knew we had lost one of our Rotties and were looking to rescue. She only lasted a year but I like to think it was the best year of her life.

My male is 100 lbs, his mom died at birth so he's a big baby....but can also be an asshole...lol
My female is 140 and all Corso. Definitely the protector.

I had the CB kit on my 19 Pro, then I did the Westcott front and CB +3 on my 20. The 19 was running Cooper at3 xlt’s in 285/75/18. The 20 had 285/75/18 Duratracs. No BMC on either and plenty of room to even go a bit taller.

How did the ride on the two compare? Any major difference or preference between the two?

Also, did you get a full size spare at 285/75/18 and did it fit under the truck?
