Other than good look, what does it do to the truck when Toyota put 20" tires on their more expensive trims 1794, Platinum, and Limited VS 18" wheels on SR and SR5. I thought smaller 18" rim in theory will yeild better Ride. I am new to truck and just want to learn. Thanks

So many people believe bigger wheel worse ride it all depends on the tires you have and how much tire is there. But for instance I had 18" wheels and 35s running same tire pressure as I do now. I now have 22" wheels and 35s. And it was rougher ride with the 18" wheel set up.

A 20" with lower profile or stock tire will drive more "sporty", handle the corners slightly better.

20s on the TRD Sport makes me feel safe on the wet roads of the Houston area.

If you want the best looking truck on the road get the 20” with ko2 tires. I don’t think the rim provides much utility beyond looks

    I run 20” Limited rims with 35” KO2... I love it.
