alpine xs69c in the front doors

jl jd1000/1 class d mono amp

2 jbl 12tw3s in a box behind my back seat (2016 tundra crewmax)

    2 packs of noico 80 mil 36scft

1 pack of noico red 150 mil 36scft car sound insulation, heat and cool liner self adhesive closed cell deadening material

Any one see any problems with my new system? amp for the subwoofers and 69s off the head unit. is the head unit powerful enough to power these 69s? i have an amp under my passenger seat. i know i have to rewire everything for the new amp but do i have to rewire the new door speakers too? i have the truck gutted to put in the sound insulation so it wouldn't be a big deal. any pro tips or suggestions? thank you so much!!!

Looks good to me. Have you considered doing 6.5" components over the 6x9s. Better midbass response.

Head unit should be enough to power the door speakers, but youll eventually want to run a 4ch amp to power the doors. You could future proof your list by installing two extra sets of RCA's from.the headahead unit and going up to a 2ga power wire. If you wanted to install a 4ch in the future you'd need a distro block and you'd be good to go

Factory speaker wiring will be sufficient, but if your not lazy like I am, replace the wiring.

I agree. I went with the JL C1 components in all 4 doors.

im sorry can you elaborate more on the rcas? do you just mean have some extra wires hanging out so i dont have to dig back into my head unit? also i have a fuse distribution block in my shopping cart now so thanks for the advice! also took the 69s out and put two pairs of jl c1s in so i guess i should just get a jl jd 400/4 amp and do it all right now?

If you run a mono amp and a 4ch, you'll have 3 sets of rca's coming from the head unit.
Make sure to get ofc power wire not cca, and don't get a fuse holder that takes those glass tube fuses. They are garbage.
Usually the most youll get on the sub channel of a 5ch is 600w. Might come up a little short for op.
But if he can make 500w to the subs work, definitely a great option.

i switched the 69s out for 65s but i am wondering which ones to get now cause i thought it was supposed to have seperate tweeters that i put in the corner and the jl c1s dont have that so ill have to watch some videos and learn what is the best. i ordered the dmh wt8600nex (pretty excited) and a sub box for 2 12s. now i am just trying to figure out what door speakers to get and i am getting a jl jd400/4 for them. been looking up wires for a while now. by any chance can anyone post a link to the cable kit they would buy to wire the two amps. ty!

C1s will have a separate tweet with integrated crossover. C1X is coaxial.

You might be able to get away with a 4ga wiring kit (up to 1k watts), but you'd be better with a 1/0ga kit. Check with crutchfield, sometimes if you order a head unit they'll give you a deal on a wiring kit.
    Something like this should work.
    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_575RFK1/Rockford-Fosgate-RFK1.html
You don't have to get this one. Just make sure you get ofc (oxygen free copper) wire and not (copper clad aluminium).
    Another option:
    https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B075K5STX3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_i1woFb8RB4FKD
You'll need 3 sets of rca's total, anyone's will work.
Once you figure out a wiring kit, get a distro block that has 2 4ga outs and get a short run of 4ga to go to each amp.

Yep. Hit Walmart and get some pillow filling.

Most likely not, unless the airspace of the box is too low. Polyfil is used to make a speaker think it has more airspace than it does, but those TW3 subs are made to excel with minimal airspace.

For the wiring, check out Knukonceptz for some quality but inexpensive wire. Wherever you get your wire, make absolutely sure you get OFC (oxygen free copper) and not CCA (copper clad aluminum). CCA requires a much larger size wire to carry the same current and corrodes super fast. Not at all worth the savings.

I ended up not using it but I ordered one of these and was pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Real nice combo distribution block modeled after the hundred and some odd dollar Audison model that you can't even find anymore.

I bought some Black Hole Stuff from my Focal dealer. This stuff makes the bass sound so much richer. Woofers don't think. For the wire and RCAs use Knuconcepts. For fuse blocks and grounding blocks use kicker products.

I like KnuKonceptz for cables as well.

    http://www.knukonceptz.com/

Used them for RCAs, speaker, and power wires.
Ran 0ga for amp and battery cables, just because I could..

Is that 0 gauge straight to the amp? What size of fuse did you use?

I did the same thing, because I knew I would want to upgrade in the future. I m still working it all out, but the monoblock I ve chosen requires 3 runs of 0 guage, so I am thinking about a second battery in the back of cab.

Are you going to go with a sealed or ported box?
I had two 10tw3's in the stealthbox (sealed) and i ended up selling it and went with a ported box from tech12volt and its much better.....i'd recommend ported.
You could check with tech12volt and see how much it will be just for a box if you already have the speakers. tech12volt@gmail.com
