I see them doing this kind of stuff all the time... the primary factor for me needing to learn how to do everything on the truck myself

Check your lug nuts too if they rotate your tires, they didn't tighten one of my keyed nuts and it came off at some point. Think I need to get all the stuff to do my own oil changes, the Toyotacare ran out a while ago and I don't want to continue to pay for lazy work.

Last night I put my new Northstar in just as preventative maintenance (excuse my terribly dirty engine bay...). Also installed the VLED's footwell lights. With the LED map lights I didn't feel the fronts needed them, so instead I put them on the sides of the front seats to act as courtesy lights when the doors are open. Worked pretty good I think. The velcro they give you sucks though, sticks to the carpet good but not itself.

Love the grill. Yesterday this hot mama called it "pretty", so it's already working :D

The indicators and clearance lights work amazing, add a lot of visibility. Haven't had the chance to try the fogs out yet, but I stopped running them on all the time because they are so bright, I don't want to piss anyone off. I plan to get the ARB fog light cover kit and tint the covers.

They seriously could've added a light on the doors. It's a pain trying to make sure you don't miss the side step when getting in and it's pitch black outside.

Yeah, the bummer on these is since it's on the seat you get a shadow from the door jam, so it doesn't really solve not being able to see the steps.

Wow that looks great! You also have a six seater, that silly jump seat really proved to be the most troublesome unit for me by far! How did it go for you?

Royalty Core grille is on the 2020 Platinum, and I couldn’t be happier...this thing is solid as a rock...fitment took some patience but for a custom hand made grille it fits almost perfectly with a little maneuvering...install video will be up on the channel tomorrow!

New brakes and rotors all around. The rear pads were pretty bad. Also got an oil change, put in a fumoto valve, and replaced a squeaky belt.

My previous truck, a Taco, had synthetic oil from first oil change. 200k later took it to a Toyota dealership and they put in regular oil even though I specified synthetic. The truck ran like shit. Had to take it back.
Unfortunately moving to northern Virginia I can't do it myself anymore. Can't have any oil leaks /accidents on the driveway. :(

Installed OME rear shocks, Coachbuilder rear brake line relocation and the right side Toytec leaf spring bushing. After 4 hours of blood, sweat, tears, and many expletives, I decided I'd wait to remove the left side stock leaf spring bushing for another day. Fuck those things.

Decided to leave the Toytec shackles at 1" because it was getting awfully close to the exhaust. Those of you with Toytec shackles, do any of you have dirty deeds full exhausts? Curious if you can get away with the full setup or need to get the dumped version.

Then I went for a test drive. The rear OME shocks make so much more of a difference than the fronts did. Probably because I went from stocks to 5100's to OME's in the front, vs. stocks to OME's in the rear.

Swapping old to new for more street look even though old is more aggressive and more on off-road.
