    Hi all-
New member here. I am starting to customize my new 20 Limited and can not find a direct answer in the search. When it comes to a 4x4 Crew Max, can I run 295-70-18s with no mods? I am going to be installing a leveling kit and better shocks shortly I am just not sure if I can mount the wheels and tires I bought before its installed or if I will need to wait?

The rims these are on are factory TRD Offroad wheels

I think the wheel offset would be a big factor. IIRC the stock wheel have -60. I put 275/70R18 on my stock rims as winter tires, right after I got a 2.5" lift. These are smaller that you are going (33" vs 34") and I hit the skidplate. I would think 34s make have additional trimming needed on a stock height with stock rims.

I think the better question is why do things out of order

Depends on which tire. They all run slightly different despite being 295's. Generally its advised to get 1.25" spacers if using stock TRD OR wheels because for those who have made it fit without spacers, its extremely close to the UCA. I have 295 Falken Wildpeaks with 1.25" spacers and had to take off the mudflaps and trim the front of the fender liner for zero rub.

No.. You will need to at least level the front in order to fit that size tire.

My brother just got 295/70/18’s on his 1794 crew max factory wheels slight rub on the front splash guard and skid plate. 15min fix and your good to go. Clears the UCA by about 3/8 of an inch.

    Just to circle back-
These fit with no mods at all (thanks Big J!)

All that has been done is removal of the mud flaps, which I had previously done when I debadged.

These are too close but thank you. Just wanted to get a general “stance” look of the 295’s on stock rims with no spacers. So I could compare to my 275s.
    Thank you
