What’s this noise? Lifter?

2016 5.7 flex
Only does this periodically on cold start after idling for a couple of minutes.

Thought it was a tensioner or pully but have changed those and belt.

It’s loudest on the drivers side.

Its possible but in all my cases the lifter never stops making noise. Could be something that has shrunk and needs heat to expand, what that would be i am clueless

 

Valve train noise on start-up is a common complaint with UR engines. It's normal. Rather than continue to change parts to eliminate the noise, use a mechanics stethoscope to localize it:

Or...You can just do what others have done: Try a different oil. Mobil1 0W20 may be more susceptible to valve noise than Toyota GMO, or, try a slightly heavier viscosity (5W30). On my last change, I switched to 5W30, not for noise, but because in Texas' climate a slightly higher viscosity oil isn't going hurt anything.

The Owner Manual tells owners that they can use 5W20 if 0W20 is not available, but that they should change back to 0W20 as soon as possible. The UR engines were probably originally designed (2006) for 5W30 oil, so it's not like 5W30 oil will damage the engine. Corporate wants owners to help them keep promises made to the government to maintain fleet fuel efficiency at pledged level.

 

Sounds like a bad timing chain tensioner, would get that checked if it continues.
