I am looking at a few Tundra SR5s. Didn't really want black interior, but there are a couple nice looking trucks with black cloth seats. Should that be a deal breaker or is it no big deal?

I favor a black interior, when I got my 14 SR5 I looked for one with black vs that gray which seemed to show everything. I love the black leather in my 16 Platinum.

I have an SR5 with black interior. Dealer added aftermarket leather. Has orange stitching. Looks really good.

A little of this and a little of that.
Dan, personally I wouldn't have another vehicle with cloth. Too dirty and not real comfy, IMO. I have black leather in mine. I wouldn't get a gray color because of what it shows, again my opinion.

You could always get cloth and if you don't like it get some leather thrown on your seats, if it's in your budget. If you do get black and are worried it'll be too hot just tint your windows accordingly.

I have black cloth. Actually like it. But like Aaron said I have tinted windows so it doesn't get too hot.

If you do go cloth and want a place that will do leather, let me know. The place that put mine in is a national company and has lifetime warranty.

i would only buy a truck/car with black interior. I've had greys, tans, beige, etc.. can't beat black. The one thing i wish my truck had was a black headliner... my f-150's interior was fully blacked out... loved it. My camaro is the same

Before insulation and tinted windows Black interiors got a bad rap. Now-a-days, it ain't no thang.

I hate black...shows every speck of dust and every scuff and my interior scuffs too easily. The cloth seats are slippery and feel cheap. I'm a woodworker so always dusty. Loved the interior in my 98 taco and hated that I couldn't get grey interior tundra.

I love black interiors but I hate that the pillars and headliner is gray. Because of that I got gray interior. So it would match better. If the headliners were color matched then I would have definitely gone with black.

IMO, you should get what you want.....always keeping in mind some colors can grow on you. I have the tan interior and like it, but black leather interior on another ride and like it just as much. I'm not a fan of cloth anymore, things happen and after a while it gets hard to keep looking first rate. It's nice to be able to wipe stuff off of leather or whatever form of fake leather is being used.

I'm a woodworker like Tacogrande. I love the black and can't have cloth. I wore out the cloth on my '07 and put leather in the whole interior. There was SO MUCH dust in my drivers seat! I think I got better gas mileage after that 'cause I wasn't hauling around all that dust. lol I wish it was all black like others said. Hmmm, future mod?

If it bothers you, don't get it. Especially if your the type, like me, that wants what they want. Having said that. I like cloth. Cooler in the summer time and warmer in the winter. But to each his own. Of course if you love everything else about the truck and get a good deal, there are always leather seat covers, with heat!

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/anyone-add-heated-seats-to-gen-3.8217/

There was another very cool seat cover that said TRD. I just could find it.
