I have been a lurker here for awhile, but things are getting out of hand so I figured it was time to own my addiction. It started with the transfer-flow tank, then some airbags...then the softopper and bed rug.

I found a video on replacing my chrome grill with a TRD....and I needed some new tires as my original Michelins were pushing 38,000 miles.

For a decade I have restored aircraft of all types. Its been awhile since I've turned a wrench and I was jonesin'...so thanks to all of YOU my wallet is a bit thinner. :D

I learned a few things a long the way that I will share in a separate thread. Thanks to the forum for leading me to some quality parts and vendors, as well as the guidance for the installs. The only mod I hired out was the BDS coilover. I wanted an experienced tech to be the one cutting on the truck.

Here are some pics of my 2016 Crewmax. I'm undecided on bumpers/winch...but other than that it's getting pretty close to "done". Maybe I should wash it to take a pic... Favorite mods so far are the Transfer flow tank and the BDS 4.5 coilover. The ONX6 dual control 40" is impressive. The Datin and Victory Racks are outstanding but the Victory rack has a potentially scary flaw (I'll share that later in another thread) which I addressed $$. Hushmat works well. Best part is I no longer feel the need to upgrade the stereo. Falken tires (I'm a Michelin man) are impressively quiet and smooth. I can hear the tires of the lifted vehicles behind me while cruising with my windows down. Right now, they are actually quieter than my worn out Michys were.

SDHQ products are outstanding, and they are good people. Datin rack initially had a minor issue, and the owner handled it immediately. THUMBUP. Quality stuff.

    (whatever i forgot...plus :
Transfer Flow Tank, Firestone Airbags, Softtopper, BedRug, TRD Grill, Datinfab Bedrack, Victory Roofrack, Hushmat, SDHQ Rocksliders, SDHQ hidden lightbar, 40" BajaDesigns Dual Control Onx6, BajaDesigns Squadron fogs, BDS 4.5" Coilover, Method 18s, Falken Wildpeaks)

Do share on the Victory rack, I have been looking into those and the UPtop overland. I see you soundproofed the roof, how is the wind noise from the rack?

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

I’ll post on the Victory rack soon in a separate thread. I didn’t notice noise from either rack, but I did do the hushmat at the same time so???

Regarding bumpers - I’m trying to find the best fit for the truck. I want functional, winch mount, but not a huge/heavy bumper that looks obviously aftermarket. Open to suggestions.

If anyone is interested in TRD takeoff 18” wheels, or the TRD factory suspension (NOT pro), I am going to sell them. I’d rather hook up a forum member than ebay but I see there is a time delay on for sale posts here (which is a good thing).

I DO like those. Does anyone know if they can custom fab the bull bar to be wider? I want to accommodate my 40” BD bar down low. I could move it to the hood position but I prefer it less obvious.

The C4 Fab bumpers are awesome, from your description it sounds like this could work also.

Here is a pic of the Roofnest Condor XL. This was the first night. Its a nice RTT, with simple deployment/takedown.

The materials seem like they are durable, although the zippers are just average.

The skylight is a nice feature for enjoying the stars. Running the airbags up to 35lbs eliminated motion.

The Datin rack made the RTT install simple.

The Victory rack was perfect for a couple of Hobie kayaks.
