I have a 05 stepside, thinking of swapping the bed with a regular access (not dc) cab bed. I assume all I need is the bed, tail lights, and rear bumper?

Is there a decent place or source within this community to pick up used beds? I've done some searches without very much luck.

    Any input appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Pete

Ebay, car-part.com or maybe Craigslist? I found a few on eBay out west when I was contemplating swapping mine out. They are out there...

    Ditto the above.
Lots of folks have removed the beds from their Tundras and converting them to a flat bed configuration. Some of the beds have actually never been used.
I've seen them in the past on Craigslist.

Thanks for the tips...Car-Part.com has a bunch! ...few in blue and none that are undamaged, unfortunately.

Might need to buy the best one and send it to the Auto Paint Shop.

If yours is in decent shape, you could sell it. I'm sure somebody would want it...

I definitely want to sell mine once I have a replacement installed. It is in great shape. For me, I prefer the extra room in the bed. The stepside was the only compromise I made when buying the truck. It is a long shot but I'm hoping at some point in the future I'll find someone on here with a blue truck that wants to do a bed swap.

I like the side step in conjunction with a nice cap. Looks better than an AC/DC Regular Bed with a cap.
