New truck now has a million little sap drops on it.

So, I noticed this morning what looked like sand blasting damage on my windshield. Upon further investigation they turned out to be tiny droplets of what I think is sap and they are all over the truck. They seem to be rather intractable.

What product can I use to get rid of these? Will the product require me re-waxing my 1 month old truck?

    Thanks all!

Goo gone is usually pretty good against sap. And yes, you'll definitely have to wax afterwards.

I like Stoner Tarminator, it works great and is easy to find. If it's just the windshield then you can use a razor carefully, unfortunately im sure the stuff is all over your truck. Id use tarminator, clay, wash then seal or wax

A good warm water wash with a good car specific detergent will get rid of the spots. Be sure to use one that's good for grease and follow up with a good wax. What you're seeing probably isn't sap, it's honeydew from aphids. Basically, it's aphid poop. If it's your tree, go to a local gardening supply store and buy a couple of containers of ladybugs. They'll be chilled when you get them. Keep them in the fridge until night time, water the area around the tree and up into the branches, and release the ladybugs at the base of the tree. As they warm up, they'll climb the tree and feast on the aphids. I modified some bird houses to that the opening is too small for a bird, but plenty big enough for ladybugs. I release a fresh batch every spring.

Updated with a picture I forgot I had. The bars on the opening are a couple of pieces of brass rod held in by a couple of screws.

Holy Sh!t, thanks everyone. I was hoping not to have to wax the truck until spring. May clean it off and go ceramic...

    Aphid poop,

This all the way. I started noticing the same thing recently, my friend who has a degree in biology and is a landscape designer said aphid poop. I've got ceramic and instabead, so it comes off easily with a quick detail fluid and a mf towel between washes.
Having raised roses at my previous house, I can confirm ladybugs are the real deal. Release the bugs!

So, I waited 2 weeks (I usually wash my truck Friday mornings) and went ahead with a wash. Power wash only, no manual agitation. That took care of the problem... I was so stressed about it. I have to do a huge detail on me wife's 2014 Highlander which hasn't been waxed since it was new and was not looking forward to doing a similar strip and wax on my new truck.

I did park under a large flowering tree, I assume that's where they came from. Next time I'll roll with ladybugs as a preventative measure...

I have the same issue as you, but I've washed twice with a power wash and had no success. Did you do anything else?

They have hot water from the pressure washer at the car wash I go to. That may have been the ticket. I was going to consider getting scalding hot water in a couple of 5 gal buckets with car wash soap if that didn't work. Just wear some kitchen gloves.

Hot water must be the key, thanks!
