CHROME DELETE - Should I do it?????

I have a Limited and was on the fence about switching also. Black truck looks Ok with chrome, but looks better without it. I say change it all out to body color. You can always keep your old parts if you change your mind down the road.

Swap those headlights for TRD Pro halogens or black OEM LEDs and you're finished dechroming.

Where did you get the front bumper inserts?

 

GM has there trucks with ALOT of chrome

 

Unfortunately, not Toyota, the line up is all gone to colored plastic like on crossovers. I love the early Tacomas, 4runners, and Landcruisers that had the nice metal chrome bumpers.

 

I’m holding off to see if Roman with Cool Springs sells the grill and surround for the Trail Edition since it’s cement. Since you have MGM you may want to wait to see if he will carry the nightshade edition. I think that front end looks good!

 

Great idea! That’ll look sweet for sure. Funny enough, if I did the chrome delete, I wanted to color match the surround and do the grille insert in gloss black, color match the bumper, and black the mirrors and door handles. Which is basically the nightshade edition. I didn’t even know that was coming until now haha
