Reloading is the way to go. Good Hornandy or Dillion Progressive and you will be busting out 1k+ rnds an hour perfectly tailored to your guns. Plus, I find it therapeutic.

I’ve been looking into it, especially with the current shortages. I’ve since bought a few more guns so reloading is probably the way to go. Thanks for the input.

I like to use a single stage press to work each load up. Makes it easy to play with powder charges, COAL, brass, primer, etc variations. Then once you find a combo that shoot greats, you can load up your progressive and bust out quantities. After a while you may find that you shoot just to reload lol.

I love mine. I almost never actually use it to lock my gun up but it is very handy for a lot of different things.

Any Lefties on here? Probably won't buy for a while, but looking for a new rifle. I am looking for a 30-06 in wood stock. Seems majority of lefties are sinthetic stock. Looking for a Remington 700 or Winchester model 70. Remington currently only makes the 700 sps for lefties and I don't think Winchester is making lefties currently. Need to find used 700 CDL or used model 70 feather light in left hand.

I’m pretty sure Weatherby makes a left hand bolt gun. And If I go to the shop today I’ll look and see if we still have that Remington left hand 30-06 on the shelf.

Awesome! I found one on gunbrokers.com in 700 CDL, but it sold faster than I could contact my FFL dealer for info

I will keep my eyes peeled. I spend way to much time looking at gun classifieds adds. What's your budget?

Depends. If just gun, 800-1000 max. If gun scope combo could do more. Hopefully find just the gun, been looking at Leupold for scopes to mount on it.

I have a 30-06, but it's a model 54 Winchester and looking to retire it from hunting and the elements. All my current rifles are right handed, but since I shoot left handed figured I would try to get a left handed rifle.

Tim, at the moment, the only thing I'm finding in this neck of the woods is a Ruger 77 Stainless and laminate stock. Stock looks a little worn, and it has a Tasco scope. Not sure if that's of any interest to you. If you like, I can post up a Wanting To Buy ad and put your model choices in it and see if anyone around here might have a lead on something.

Leupold is the way to go. I have them on all my guns. VX3 or VX5 are awesome hunting scopes.

Haha I was going to send him that one. I had an M77 for awhile. They are nice but a little heavy and not really known for their extreme accuracy.

Nothing wrong with a Ruger, Tikka, or Browning, at all. Just have my interest in a Winchester or Remington models currently. Hoping to find one within a year. If not then I will look into Browning or even Tikka has lefty 30-06.

Not a current need, just a want. And nothing wrong with sinthetic, I just prefer wood stock looks.

I was looking at a vx5 hd 2-10 power by 40 mm I believe. Seems like it would fit my needs. Furthest shot for me was just under 400 yards. I try to get closer as opposed to the long shots if I can.

Yah, I search The Trader whenever I'm looking for something, prices are crazy these days though.

I am currently watching bids on a Remington 700 BDL in lefty. Currently it's at 530. Ends Sunday night. See how high it goes. Scope rings, no scope.

I almost got that same scope but found a deal on a VX3 last minute and went with 4.5-14x40 on my 6.5. So far it has been awesome.

Got some goodies in today. Usually purchase TulAmmo but you have to take what you can get around here. Wolf should be just fine it just costs a little more. Gunshops are getting cleaned out. I still dont understand exactly what's going on but the shop owner told me today most handguns are 3+ months out. Lots of first time buyers too

I love it. I was looking for something I could enjoy at the range that wouldn’t be to expensive to shoot. I haven’t hunted with it yet but it shoots great! I went with a Bergara.

Missed out on an auction for a Remington 700 BDL left hand. Had bids in and lost track of time, outbid by 5 dollars. Kinda frustrating but oh well.
