Friends have been asking about our trip.
I don't think they will close the campsite. We just need to be smart about how we socialize.

Camping is not going to be a problem as long as the group you are with stays together. We all have our spots.

Groups going out to off road will be in their trucks. I don't see a problem there.

It's the BBQ / Raffle that is going to be tricky. We need to make sure everyone is safe.

I'll start looking for ideas on how we can socialize safely.

FYI - Icon will be giving us a set of their alloys for the raffle.

Haha depends if my lady wants to drive or not. Trying to coax her into tackling White Mountain. She’s done several of the obstacles out at VOM, but still not a big fan of the rocks. If she wants to do something fun, I’ll lead a trail to take her. If she’s going on an easy run, then hopefully something harder. I still have Holcomb and Dishpan on my to-do list.

We are one month away from San G!!! Full steam ahead.

It looks like everything is opening up and we are moving towards our new normal. With that said I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable while camping in SanG. We'll have a hand sanitizer station and masks for anyone that feels they need them.

    I need your help!!!

I'm looking for ways to have everyone be part of the BBQ but still be distant. I need ideas on how we can zoom, stream, CB or ham the BBQ so that everyone can be involved. I know the internet connection is spotty at best and that will be our biggest obstacle. If anyone has ideas or solutions, please send me a note.

I'm also working on the fun and games. Along with the raffle, we'll have a scavenger hunt for prizes (i.e. take a picture with @eccracer104) .... I'll list a few items to take pictures of and will have some prizes.

I hope everyone is safe and healthy.

I can’t wait to see everyone up in SanG.

I’m still working on ideas of how we can have everyone be a part of the BBQ & Social Distance in San G.

One idea we came up with...
Do you guys know Curtis from @Durobumps? He’s one cool dude from AZ. He might be willing to deliver food from the BBQ to campsites, for friends that feel they want to social distance. I think thats a great way to get people fed and still social distance.

I'm still looking for a way to zoom, ham or CB broadcast to the campsites.

I'm working on raffle prizes and a modified scavenger hunt.

I'm getting request for sites. If anyone is thinking of cancelling let me know, I have a list of guys looking for a spots.

My spot might be up for grabs. Had a couple family members that had covid(not close or in this state) and we are still questioning a big reunion even with social distancing.

Yeah, I’m at the point where I think, those that aren’t worried, haven’t lost anyone... yet.

We’re excited to attend but, rather than be a little bitch (haha! that’s me peeking into the Tacoma side to say it like it is), I vote everyone ‘have to’ wear “real masks” during the group photo (not buffs, handkerchiefs, or those filter versions). That said, if that’s not what happens, we’ll still park Hulk in the group, just won’t get out and socialize. :(

Maybe we should have a mask contest to encourage everyone to wear a mask...

We might have a plan in place to broadcast the BBQ via ham in the San G campsite. Will get all the detail out later, but if you want to be a part of the BBQ with out leaving your campsite we may have a solution. Must have ham radio.

    1. @durrobumps eats can deliver food.
    2. Listen to the BBQ/Raffle vía ham radio.
    3. Masks and hand sanitizer available

Don't know if I can make it now. My manager also has vacation for the whole week and that would leave one new advisor with another semi new advisor with no management For 2 days. So my manager told me he would pay me 300.00 cash to not take that weekend off. Lmao. I feel more bad for the 2 new guys to stay alone.
