Did anybody found this two in black?

Did anybody modified the normal setting on the rear air spring position default on hi?

Anybody added a leveling kit for the front electronically controlled suspension?

Is the running board mounting hardware the same as the crewmax?

Back ordered. I have to settle with magnetic grey, but it should not be that bad since it will give it a two tone look.

Got @rrentrop working me up a price on black decals for the Platinum badges as we speak.

On the lift gate parts, they are available in black, but expensive:

license molding (black with chrome letters):

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-license-molding-768010c040c1?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9ZXh0ZXJpb3ItdHJpbS1saWZ0LWdhdGUmbD01Jm49QXNzZW1ibGllcyBQYWdlJmE9dG95b3RhJm89c2VxdW9pYSZ5PTIwMTkmdD10cmQtc3BvcnQmZT01LTdsLXY4LWdhcw%3D%3D

Overlays for other emblems, including the chrome letters on the license molding:

    https://parts.toyotaofcoolsprings.com/oem-parts/toyota-exterior-emblem-trd-sport-badge-black-pt9480c20002?c=az0x

    Finished product:

    2BE71E76-9C0B-4BF2-A97B-41B209C5918B.jpg

@Beau used black vinyl to wrap his instead. Much cheaper way, but I couldn’t get it to come out right.

I paid a lot due to the bells and whistle. And the premium of an extensive service record from day one and single owner.
    Screenshot_20200811-162506_Chrome.jpg
Got it out the door $17,000 cash delivered to me from 150 miles away the same day. 202k miles.

There were less expensive ones, but mom and pop dealers and no service history.

I might try doing rattle can plast-dip for the time being.
The black trd pro grill is back ordered with 97 prepaid orders nationwide. I'll just get the silver instead and paint it later to match so I'll have it.

Our last Sequoia was a 2012. We got a new one last year and gave the old one to the in laws. It has around the same mileage as yours and it’s never had an issue. Everything other than tires, wheels, and other wearable parts are still original. That thing never had a single part go out. Definitely great vehicles. (Good luck keeping it clean though. Thank god my wife didn’t choose black.)

I got mine painted pretty cheap. (Sequoia is Blizzard Pearl which isn’t available on the pro grill.) I have a friend who works at a paint and body shop. He did my grill, hood bulge, and mirror caps for 80 bucks.

Ordered black decals for the Platinum badges last night from TVD.

I am currently looking at a 2012 platinum one owner with 212k. Has detailed service records with all service performed at the local Toyota dealer. Very good condition with no issues. They are asking $17500. I have a 2011 Tundra with 421k so I’m familiar with Toyota reliably. We will only add 8K to 10k miles a year if we purchase. Thoughts ?

I could not pass it up. It was also serviced the the same Toyota dealership with no fail.

Haggle and try to make it 17k cash out the door. They took it in as a trade and brought it for 12k or less.

Damn nice collection! Curious why you're selling? They sure have gotten valuable, wish I had bought one 10 years ago lol

This Sequoia is for sell by the original owner. I like that because it gives me a chance the meet him and get a feel for how it has been driven and used.

25 years of racing the ae86 chassis. 9 ae86 was my record.

I am moving to Canada that's why I am liquidating everything. Even my 2020 Tundra. I'll buy the 2022 when it comes out.

    Excited to see this build!
I'm also looking to black out the license molding. I like what you did with yours @War Machine. looks like with those 2 parts you were in for about $350?

So, in my 3rd gen Tundra 295.70.18 +12 offset with 3" lift. I had to shim the bumper, move the plastic behind the bumper, remove the flap, remove the mud guards.

For the 2nd gen Sequoia/ Tundra 2" lift max options.
    285.65.18 +12
    275.70.18 +12
    295.70.18 +25

I'll be buying new tires or wheels no matter what. Which option will give me a better chance in keeping the mud flaps. shimming the bumper is not an option I believe.

    TIA!

The dampers are functioning properly as far as can tell. But I did see traces of oil stain.

1.) 2" Spring spacer I have on hand with AVS
2.) 1.75 Dobinson springs $295 + tax and shipping with AVS
3.) 5100 top setting oem springs ft. I have on hand. Order rear 5100 disable AVS until i can justify the need for it.

Is this normal? This is not the first time I gotten a used item from the dealer.

Looks awesome! Did you have to do anything to get the 295/70r18 to fit? How much lift did you get with the 5100s top setting?

295.70.18 on 18x9 +12 with the 5100 top setting rubs on the 10mm bolts, front splash guard and mud guards. But not as bad as the rubbing from my 2020 Tundra with the same settings. It's been 5 days and 400mies with no damage, but it is annoying and loud. I'll try to move the plastic cover behind the bumper forward. To see it that is good enough before removing or heating to remold plastic pieces.

I don't remember the before numbers. But the current numbers is 39.5/40

If you have +25 or greater it will reduce the rubbing.

    I'll post photos later.
