Picked up my truck after having seat bracket and radio replaced. Seat bracket was making popping sound and seat was rocking back and forth. Radio screen was bubbling. Dealer i got it from (elk grove) their master tech and regional rep said it was normal.

Avoid Elk grove toyota for any work done.

I'm interested in how you like the knight rider light bar. A review and some night pics would be awesome. I know it's expensive, but damn is it cool lookin. Besides I would use that more than i could use an off road only light bar. Who am I kidding, I want both.

Anyway you truck is looking good!

Thank you! I haven't had the chance to get many good night photos, as I work night shift so I'm away from the truck when I could be getting the best photos  but when I'm off next week I'll grab better photos and do a review write-up on the light bar. So far I'm loving it!

Should have a mounted pic later today/tomorrow. Used SEM's Hotroad black, so it will be a semi finish. Something different, and not a TRD Pro Grille :)

Wonderful freezing rain here today. Washed truck yesterday and made it about 200 yards and couldn't even tell I had touched it. Decided to do some prep work and get the 6112's assembled. Dirtydeedsindustries has an awesome YouTube video on how to do it. Took about an hour.

Thanks Everyone. I really was just trying to do something a little different. Everyone and their mothers have the Pro Grille in my area. Although it almost looks the same from a distance..... I'll be adding some LED's for the "raptor" light look this weekend. Plus getting rid of the last of the chrome. Going to vinyl the lower bumper portions.

Prep was extremely simple. Literally just taped off the white surround. Took my time and made sure the tape was well into the separation between the grille and insert. Scuffed the insert it to a dull look with a piece of scotch pad. Then I cleaned it really well. My buddy owns a paint shop so he let me use his booth and gun. I've used it before and have some experience with it, but I'm not sure on what kind of gun it is. It's extremely nice, but he paints for a living. We did about 4 coats in total of SEM hot rod black. It's a Semi/Matte finish. Came out great, and was less of a bitch than taking that damn insert out.

Got some new Spyders coming next week. Should help tie everything together.

Welcome- Not sure if you recall when you did the lights in the bumper. How much further could you have gone to the outside? I'm asking as I got a set of backup style sensor bumper caps by accident. Thinking I might move them out to where those holes are. Not sure how much room there is behind the bumper.

Looks Good! What lights did you go with for the rear? How's the output? Thinking about some for my go rhino rear bumper.

I could have brought them out 3-4" further probably and would have had a little flatter surface to mount on but it also points the lights to the outside if that makes sense..

-I ran all rigid industries lights, I'm super happy with the output and quality! They are spot lights not flood lights so they are ridiculously bright for reverse lights but I have them on a three position switch so I can run them when my truck is off and/or I'm loading something.

Made some spacer blocks to get the sway bar back closer to the OEM degree. I used a piece of 1"x2"x6" solid 6061 aluminum, with new 60mm long, grade 10.9 flange head bolts that are shouldered and only threaded as much as needed. ( shouldered bolts are much stronger ). Just bolted up tonight, but will remove briefly to coat them black so they blend into the frame.

Had to trim my driver side fender liner this morning. Was hoping I could push it up enough to clear it without cutting it but no bueno. :(

Still rubbing VERYYYYYY slightly at full lock in reverse on the cab mount. I think after I get a couple thousand miles on the tires it wont be an issue anymore. Just gonna be careful until then.

Ya, it was a factory option- they are led day running lights(drl). You can buy them At sparksparts.com I believe.
