Thank you very much kind Sir!

I appreciate the kind comments Geno! I actually do have a little experience with some sofa stuff back in a day...

Patience is key my friend! Having an analytical mind and a helper or two, with a same like mind just catapults the process. I have seen your paint work, meticulous. Therefore, I would venture to say this would be well within your skill set.

Thank you Jim! Yes, @jhuey8947 helped me tremendously with this order!

Exactly the same here. Because I tow also, he suggested 2.25 in. tubing instead of 2.5" Did you go that route too?

Curious as to why some of you put gun safes in your truck?

Used it a few weeks ago to lock up my wallet, watch and my wife's valuables while we were at the beach. I have used it for my carry if I get someplace that doesn't allow but that's pretty rare. I like the extra level of security but realize if someone want in they will get in.

I rarely if ever carry on my person, but always have protection in my truck. And I leave it in there all the time. Only take it out to clean or hit the range. So it gives me a feeling of doing everything I can to properly secure it, if someone breaks into my truck. I have a different style safe, that uses my fingerprint to open. And the last 2 times my truck was broken into, they either didn't see the safe or just ignored it in the center console.

PS my 2nd gen was broken into twice, this same safe is now mounted in my 3rd gen

Can I have a link to the safe/whatever accessory you have the gun mounted to?

I use it to carry a gun occasionally, but mainly it's just to keep stuff locked up, as well as the occasion when the wife wants to leave her purse in the truck or I need a place to stash my work MacBook Pro.

    Got recall 20TA12 done.

Appointment booked over a week ago as they indicated that they needed to order parts. I figured it was simply moving a wire from one spot to another.

Swapped out to color matched mirror caps. Trying to decide if I want to do the same for the front bumper or just replace it entirely.

Got my kit, wheels, tires and tint put on. It's hard to believe we spend that much money on a new truck and immediately start looking at upgrades/add-ons LOL!!!! I'm already trying to decide what to do first between bed cover & truck box, stereo and ceramic coating. Right now ceramic is in the lead I think. Want it to look as good as possible for as long as possible and I'm not a lover of car washing lol. Plus I live in a neighborhood and think people would frown upon me taking the .410 to all the freakin' birds that keep bombing my new ride.

So far this week I have: Replaced wheels and tires; installed the wireless phone charger in the console; threw on my giant new Bulletproof hitch; and installed a Swing Case on the driver's side. I also noticed that the mounting bolt(s) on the right end of my 40" Rigid light bar is gone, so the lights have been slamming around inside the N-Fab bumper. I can't access the bolt without removing the skid plate. And it looks like I can't get the skid plate off without dropping the bumper. :-(
